I work in the middle of three hospitals.  You would be shocked at the amount of doctors and nurses who smoke.  I am not watching this show, so I am not taking any sides.  But quitting smoking is extremely hard.  I think support for someone who is quitting is important and to realize that slips happen, but the sincere desire to quit with the right support is important.  Shame or harshness will actually more often than not lead the person back to smoking.
