Married At First Sight - Season 1 - General Discussion - **Spoilers**

If we can believe what we see in SM, it seems like at least the 2 couples are still together. Although, it's a big red flag to me why they are making it so obvious. Also, Jamie was interviewed on a radio station last week. The announcer tweeted after the interview, that he feels based on the interview, Jamie is single. I went looking for the tweet to post it here and now I can't find it.

I sure hope the couples aren't playing us. Time will tell!

Beeleever, There are photos on page 4 of this thread of Jamie with Doug's family on the 4th of July at the shore. She was absolutely glowing on the View as well. I don't think the producers are trying to dupe anyone. They probably didn't figure that people like us would try to sleuth out the couple's status. I also think because the couples are based in NY/NJ, there isn't a need for travel and a safe house like the bachelor/ette. I am loving this show and routing for all the couples.

Thanks for sharing Scrappy. I'll have to check it out. I don't mean to sound like a downer, because I'm not. I'm just cautiously optimistic!

It hadn't occurred to me that anyone would be trying to trick the fans interested enough to check out the cast's social media but that's a valid point. From what I've seen I will be soooo disappointed if Jamie and Doug, and especially Jason and Courtney aren't together after the show ends (not attached to Monet and Vaughn's story at all - they just don't fit, IMO). From social media, I assume they are. This show seems less about the mystery of the outcome than the Bachelor and more about the interesting steps along the journey that lead to the ending. That's part of what I love about it. They can and do show the little looks and moments that tell a love story, along with the bumps in the road. It's so refreshing to watch after that Bachelorette season.

There are pictures of Jason and Cortney (all though not together) in North Carolina over the July 4th weekend, I'm assuming to go and visit her family since that is where she is from. They may have not been in favor of her choice to do Married At First Sight, but I have a feeling if they went to her hometown, things are all good

Huh, well that's interesting, they were on Instagram and I just went back through them and they are gone. If you go to Jason's he still has a picture of him at the with blue sunglasses on that was at he beach in NC. The other pictures have been deleted. There was also one of him at the airport in NC, and a picture of pizza hut pizza in NC, captioned yes, I'm really going to do this. (that's the pizza Cortney said she liked) A Rocky movie marathon picture that I was assuming was taken at her parents, oh and a picture of Bojangles Chicken that he was trying for the first time. I can't remember the ones Cortney had on hers, but I know there were a couple that are gone now as well. They must have been told to take them down with so many stalking there accounts.

I found the pizza hut picture on Jason's Twitter account, but I don't know his Instagram account name. Cortney's Instagram is now private and I didn't see anything but fireworks during the July 4th timeframe.

seriously though, i have no problems if MAFS cast's SMs hinting us as clearly who's still together and who's not. I am all on board with that, since i found the MAFS show is mostly about the 'journey' , rather than the 'end result' itself - which i found wonderfully refreshing  :Nod:  (shout out to Litta  :WAVEY: )

FYI, I stumbled on Courtney doing a Q&A on twitter tonight. Of course, this "proves" nothing, but it's an interesting answer choice if she decided to divorce Jason. I'd put my money on they're together.
