The reports from the different tabs definitely contradict each other, so obviously some, if not all, are inaccurate. And why do they always sound like speculation that has already been brought up and discussed on this board? Can't they come up with some original ideas and stop stealing our material?   

I agree that Nick really didn't witness very much of Andi's interactions with Josh, and I think it was by design. If we believe, as the BG article states, that it was a two horse race from pretty early on, then it doesn't surprise me that the producers would orchestrate it to keep those two guys out of each other's dates as much as possible. I believe they were only on one GD together, right? And I agree that since Josh probably didn't "share" much about his feelings for Andi with Nick, then Nick could convince himself that there was never much substance to Josh's relationship with her. In this case, it's no wonder he would be gobsmacked to not be chosen at the end.

I just worry that she does in fact start to accept or even accept Nick's proposal at the FRC and then change her mind minutes later after ending Josh home - hard to watch.

Or she takes a look at the ring that Nick picked out and says, "Hey, it's nice but I've still got to take a look at Josh's ring.  Let me get back to you on this."

Notice we got no scs of Neil Lane and picking out the ring this season. TPTB screwed us with scs this season. I predict next season we will get re-runs of the Family Guy instead of scs or those horrible Suave commercials.

Those Suave commercials are the worst! I swear their hair looks better before than after! And the "acting" is so unbearable. Shoot me now if they do them again next season. OTOH, it they wanted to advertise Dove soap during BIP by having Marcus take a shower each week, Im in!!!

Great post! ITA! I always thought it was interesting too that if Andi was really taken with Nick from the start (first impression rose) that she would not have wanted him on a date the first week. Was she not interested in seeing him strip down like the rest of them? If I was into a guy, I would have wanted to "check out the goods" as she said. Instead, he was sitting back at the mansion with Patrick and Andrew. Atleast Chris and Eric had 1:1's. That is telling to me.

In the past it was not uncommon for some of the guys high on the bachelorette's list to be on no dates week 1 I.e. Roberto, Arie. Also it could be argued that the producers kept Nick off the embarrassing dates as it might have turned him off and make him want to leave early. Andrew alluded to this in an ITM early in the season, and Nicks brother tweeted about Nick being lucky to not be on either of the first two group dates. Imagine how salty Nick would have been on those dates. The only bad group date Nick was on was the mime date IMO, he also avoided the lie detector date Which I think is very interesting.

Plus Brad kept Emily off the potentially embarrassing dates on his season. So I am not seeing a big conspiracy here - it could be for a number of reasons.

I think it's kind of standard to not give a date on week 2 to the recipient of the FIR. But it is interesting that it worked out for Nick to avoid most of the really embarrassing GDs except for the mime one (on which he had a hissy fit). Maybe Andi's not the only prima donna?  :hidingchair

I don't know if Andi's a prima donna; but Nick was definitely a big baby that week (which, to his credit, he acknowledged.)

I don't think any of them like the group dates. Josh said he was sufffffffering (dramatic emphasis!) and Andi told him "you haaaaaaate them" (more dramatic emphasis!). Nick's attitude on being embarrassed was strange though, he seemed so mad to be embarrassed but it's just for fun and how all these group dates go. I didn't really get his being upset at that versus having to share her.

I thought someone once said that a lot of the first dates were those TPTB had in mind for the next lead. If true, it's not surprising that they may have wanted Eric. Maybe someone remembers that list of past leads that had the first 1 on 1.
