My take, which doesn't mean much, is that the people who are talking about the adult relationship and dismissing the relationship with Josh because they feel he is just a happy guy that can't have serious conversations have not paid attention to who Josh is.  He chooses to be happy with life instead of dwelling on his disappointment with his failed baseball career where he felt he let himself and others down.  His disappointment with the girlfriend when he played ball and she didn't trust him.  It's not shown on the show so they wouldn't know but his mother and father's health issues.  Desiree also in her blog mentioned the same as Sharleen.  Personally I'd chose someone who can make me laugh, care for me and yet let me do what I am driven to do and shows me with his eyes, body and soul he loves me and I'm so comfortable with that I can say anything.  I see Nick as totally Sharleen's type and I really agree they should get together.

IA! What a great post. Josh has definitely had set backs in his life like everyone else and it's his attitude that wins the day for him. As for the second bolded, it reminds me how she blogged that she didn't have to tell Josh about the missing tooth, but she told him anyway and he thought it was really funny. So cute!

I think what Jason and Molly are saying about how she let's Josh carry the conversations validates what we have been saying about the role reversals we see during their dates.
Their first date she tells him that there's something there.  She's devastated he questioned her about the lie detector.  She gives him a yellow ribbon ( The more I think about that ribbon the more I think it was her symbolic way of telling him she was coming to Tampa since she couldn't give him a rose).  She wants his family to be excited for Josh because this is a huge time in his life too.  Last but not least he gets another ribbon during their FSD.

Thinking back over the season they have highlighted Josh's journey as much as they have Andi's.  Josh is the guy who gave up the dream, changed the direction of his life and is about to end up with his dream girl.  Andi is the girl who was so fearful of Josh's type but once she put that aside she evolved into the supportive, nurturing girlfriend.  She loses that hard edge with Josh.  It's all over her face. There's a sparkle in her eye, a bounce in her step and a smile that's so big you can see it in her eyes.   I think this FRC is going to be one for the history books.  I can't wait!!!

I read Sharleen's blog and also Chris Harrison's blog.  I am very much a Josh fan but what I'm saying here is not sour grapes about Nick.

I wish that everyone will stop pointing out that with Nick she has that intelligent guy that she can have deep conversations with.  With Josh this is Andi's comfort zone.  Josh is the guy she's used to.  This is pretty much what is said in both these blogs.

So again, they are pretty much saying that Andi should pick Nick but she picks Josh because she's comfortable with him as her type.  Whereas I think she picks Josh because she's over the moon in love with him.

I just see more with Josh than Nick.  Josh is the one she's always talking to in that low voice, like they're having a very private conversation.  I think Josh is the only one she's called babe.  I also think Josh is the only one that she's admitted to being nervous with.  Nervous on the first date, nervous to meet his parents.  In the hometown date Josh was the only date that she talked with his family as maybe any real girl starting a relationship with a guy would be, asking questions.  But with the others, it was mostly her answering questions from the guy's families.

I just don't think Josh is getting the credit that he deserves.  He could probably run rings around Nick in a deep conversation but no one seems to think of Josh this way.

I agree! I don't know that I would necessarily go as far as the bolded because I think they both are intelligent and more than capable of deep conversations, but I do take issue with relegating Josh to "dumb jock" status, as I believe that is not the case. I believe Andi had real feelings for Nick, and really gave a relationship with him all the consideration he deserved, but to me, her total heart and being are madly in love with Josh.

Well heck yeah! If Josh's mom is throwing a viewing party! Would not be to watch her son get dumped. So it will be a great night for Josh and he so deserves the best!

Sharleen's ep 9 blog on her website is even worse. She's so pro-Nick that it's so weird. I wonder what she'll say after she see's the video of Nick on the phone. Idk does anyone else feel like Andi will probably pull away from her as friends? I wouldn't even really consider them real friends as they have only known each other for a couple of months and doesn't seem like they see each other much IMO.
