Interesting analysis of Nick vs. Josh

Mooshun, Catwoman and all the great people posting their Nick love today!  You all are awesome.  I love Nick and much like Catwoman didn't to begin with.  I liked him, but didn't love him.  Just like most of you he won me over with his intelligence, wit and dorkiness.  I think Andi does have a very grown up relationship with Nick and could have a great life with Nick.  With Nick you would be his equal his partner.  I like that and find it sexy, being a princess is great but being the other competent, half of a whole is better to me.

That being said, I do think she will go with Josh and what she has always known.  I have nothing negative to say about Josh, he is a great guy too.  I just don't see her as grown and mature with Josh as with Nick.  But Josh is her comfort zone, what she knows and he will accept her and seem to not need to push her as much to better herself.  (I do think he will, but haven't seen him do it so far).  Ultimately, I think Andi will chose what she knows over what is different and uncertain.

That being said, I love Nick and truthfully, if Andi does let him go, he will find a wonderful woman.  I could see him and Sharleen or someone hot and intelligent like her.  I don't worry about sweet, hot, sexy and adorable Nick, he is fine and much like being grateful to this season for introducing me to Eric, I am also grateful for getting to know Nick.  I will be a fan and admire of his for always!

I could not agree with you more.  There are very few people from this franchise that I care to follow their "after TB journey" once they leave the show.  Ironically, it usually isn't even the lead and F1 that I care to follow, since I rarely get that emotionally attached.  But, Nick has really won my heart in all of this.  It is almost as if I actually know him personally, which I don't....LOL.  I truly hope that Nick has been able to see that maybe just maybe A LOT of those intense feelings that he had (yes, had as in past tense), were fueled and heightened and a little blown out of proportion due to the setting and the bubble that he was forced to live in.

In other words, I hope that even if Nick did fall really hard for Andi, he is now able to discern what was real and what was more "Bachelor bubble" love.  Yes, there was a "relationship" foundation built that could have resulted in the relationship continuing to grow out in the real world.  But, hopefully, Nick has found peace, understanding and closure, which will allow him to move forward and find the right woman for him.  It is my hope that Nick will not get discouraged and to become distrusting, but he will take the best out of this experience and will not look back.

I think he really did fall hard for Andi and vs versa. This is one of the little clues that made me think that, posted 3 weeks ago.

I just want to thank Mary and Chris Viall for raising such an outstanding man. All those traits mentioned above are learned at the knees of masters. He is so fortunate his big, loving family will put their arms around him and thank him for representing himself and all of them so well, regardless of how this ends.

There are two really strong and very different relationships formed in Nick and in Josh.

Nick and Andi were able to spend some quality time hanging out on their own private beach (The best!) and I’m not going to lie, I really like these two together as I’m seeing the connection and chemistry transpire. She had an instant connection with Nick that first night and it’s telling to see that the connection has continued. So often the initial ‘connection’ is typically just an attraction that can fade after the first few weeks. If you are thinking about a husband and someone that will be with you for life then you definitely want to have a mental connection, someone who understands you completely and someone who is passionate. Those qualities are lasting and the exact things Andi said she feels about Nick.

I found Nick to be charming and sweet on this date and I like the fact that he says he learned a lot from his last breakup and is ok with giving Andi his all regardless of the outcome. That is the only way the process can work and for Andi to find out who she really needs in her life. Nick’s love for Andi is apparent in the way that he looks at her. Andi mentioned a couple times that their relationship felt like an ‘adult romance’ and well, to me that is what a lasting marriage looks like. Yes, you can have fun and be goofy (that keeps the passion alive) but as for getting through differences or being able to discuss important milestones there has to be a maturity and an openness in both to understand where each other are coming from.

Sometimes emotional connections we feel can be confusing because they do not look like or feel like the connections of attraction that most relationships start on.  They are definitely a more important type of connection though, needed for a lasting love. Infatuation can be debilitating in a relationship after a few years because attraction can overpower emotional growth at times. This is where the mind and the heart battle each other.

Anyways, Nick’s story book was adorable and very thoughtful. It was his way of sharing his feelings and how much he cares for her. I do wish he just came right out and said that he loved her but it’s hard to be in the men’s shoes because they know that she can’t reciprocate those words.

Well, now we've got Des, who will most likely be in the audience with Chris S at ATFR (or SHOULD BE!) and Sharlene, the wise and worldly friend, rooting for Nick and seeing the Great Love between Andi and Nick.

Mura, thanks for bringing this over. That is something I have grown to admire about Chris and Des. Brooks was that OMG attraction, but Chris was the life partner that Des needed. I think she sees a lot of Chris in Nick. I huge compliment from her.

For those who loved Brooks, I love him too! I am grateful that he was classy enough to remove himself when he realized he couldn't be what Des needed and gave her the freedom to find what it was she really wanted. I was sucker punched, but truly believe in the long run it was the best thing for all three of them!

I hope in a year I feel as confident and hopeful of this seasons outcome.
