It's also possible that it's easier for Andi to be more relaxed and easy going about discussing/negotiating things in a relationship she is less invested in. She certainly hasn't been shown to be diva-ish with guys like Brian or Dylan. Josh appears to be the only one whose opinion/attitude REALLY concerned her. Well, Eric's did as well but only because he "insulted" her.

In my opinion, those two things are not mutually exclusive.  Indeed, most sacrifices begin as choices.

Andi's g'ma lives in Boca Raton. We are about 4 hours southeast of Tampa and no it's not a fun drive at all but it's a cheap flight either into West Palm Beach or into Ft. Lauderdale

Joshie gave up on his life long dream of toiling away in Single-A ball and making $10,000 a year to go to UGA, play football, and protect his baby brother from the adulation of fans and fawning sorority girls. Wouldn't want future NFL star to be subjected to the ravages of loose women, now would we? Well... Except that one time... On film.

I like Josh.  I like the Murrays. But, I will never stop rolling my eyes at the way this TV show presents the ordinary things that people go through as the greatest accomplishments and sacrifices of all time.  This is the show that presented a teenager who got knocked up as some sort of reincarnation of the Virgin Mary, after all.  

I have a feeling I'd like the real people involved way more than the 2-dimensional characters the show presents. But, I don't think TPTB are all that bright, so they think of shallower brushes and simpler story lines.  In this case, it's the one who's been hurt before getting hurt again, Nick.  And the one who was too good to be true being perfect for Andi, Josh. All my opinion obviously.  I'd gag, but I'm too busy googling video clips of Jodi and searching #teamgoldribbon on Twitter.  The hypocrite, it is me.

Yeah cheap flight, I use to drive to Florida a lot with my ex from Athens, GA it was a good drive it was fun I guess driving doesn't bother me at all, because driving cross country twice makes you appreciate the short trips.....

Miami is a good three to four hours from Tampa and two hours from Momma Murray's dad in Naples.  I didn't enjoy the drive from Atlanta to Tampa, found it very boring, but it is doable.  They are not close enough to not have to chose between families for holidays, but then again maybe the families will chose to combine holidays.  

I just know that they are not necessarily a short weekend trip apart for all the time, it gets old making that drive.  Or maybe it was just me having to make it too many times.

I didn't know that! Naples FtMyers Beach is one of my favourite places. I've been going there for years. I must have missed that info along the way.

LOL, people act like Andi is not just as close with her family?  I imagine they will bump heads like all couples do, it's called compromise...... It's a good thing that they live close by their families if not that could be some major disagreements....

I didn't get that impression. Whether she is or not, if Josh is the F1, she will be part of a family that is very close, which I admire. Close families do a lot of things together. She will have to be doing a lot of giving, which IMO shouldn't be that way. She should want to be as close as possible. I didn't get the impression she would when she was concerned everything revolved around Aaron during the HTD. Josh had not spoken to his brother when the draft took place. It was the first time he was seeing his brother. I would be touched to see Josh finally getting all the details about the NFL draft, while he was away. Whereas she was MeAndi'ing about the possibility of the attention being taken away from her.

That's the thing. It wasn't about the attention being taken away from her.  She was concerned about the attention being taken away from Josh.   She wanted his family to be excited for him.  Andi wasn't opposed to hearing what was going on with Aaron and told Josh as much at the ball field. Josh assured her he wanted his family to hear all about their experience too.

Once Andi got her ILU out of Josh she transitioned from mindgame playing ADA to protective, supportive girlfriend. IMO

Cosign me here as well. Plus, I think the show made it seem like she had way less knowledge and interest in all this football stuff than reality imo. She knew what pro day was, who John Gruden and his camp were, her dad is a huge UGA fan, she knew who Aaron was prior to the show and she's sporty herself. And when Dennis asked her if she could roll with them, she was enthusiastic and said it's what she wanted. She wanted to make sure Josh wasn't overlooked in his family, but I don't think this football thing is a real concern for her and their lifestyle.

The real concern imo was if Josh loves her and will truly commit and make her and their future family first. I think his behavior post-show and even while filming shows his priorities have shifted from being the siblings' keeper to his own life and a potential new life with Andi. He already left Aaron during a huge time to go meet Andi, Sabel is with his parents, he spent 4th of July mysteriously away from Aaron and his parents and sis, so she's already the priority according to my stalking

Totally agree with you, Alanna. It was very revealing to me when Josh's mom said how happy she was for him, that he deserved it because he had put himself last for so long. Josh's eyes started watering and he wiped his tears with his shirtsleeve. Such a sweet and heartfelt moment   IMHO.
