It worked for Holly and Blake on BP.   I like Lacy, she seems like a wonderful loving girl.

Like I said I don't know Lacy and I love Marcus from the little I know about him. I would love for it to work out. However, I can't compare this to Holly and Blake. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but Blake left at F8 and I don't think he had said he was even falling in love with Ashley, let alone in love with her. Blake did not propose to Holly at the end of main taping it was during the finale which I think was a month or two after filming in June. Since I do believe in love at first sight (happened with my parents and they have been married for 55 years) I know you can find it that way. I just hope that Marcus is not on the rebound or transferring his feelings. He falls so fast, but he has so much to give.

The one positive I see from it is that Marcus' family sees him as a "caregiver" and if I have the right person in my head as Lacey, that's who she is, too (professionally).

I can never gauge how much time is the right amount of time. I guess it varies on so many things.   (maturity, the ability to compromise, patience, sense of humor, the ability to communicate, etc.)
I do know the divorce rate is over 50% in the good ole USA. So getting married is the easy part, staying married a bit harder.

They throw the ILYs like there's no tomorrow on the Bachelor/ette. Maybe comparing the experience on the 'ette and his experience meeting Lacy has given him an understanding of ILY. I think his tweet of everything happens for a reason is a good indication of how he treats life situations, one door closes another opens.

If it works out and they get married, great, if it doesn't it's a life experience. Her bio on JPG was the sweetest. She is very successful and not one who wants to be in the spotlight media as so many previous contestants do.

Exactly. Marcus was blubbering all about Andi and gets engaged a few months later.

I think it feels real in the moment (now and then) while in the bubble but will it work IRL? I'm never in favor of engagements on these shows but I guess we'll see.

According to RS, Marcus and Lacy got engaged at the end of the show.

I'm on the unspoiled bach side too. My first reaction to this was WOW, I can't believe it. Then my next thought was, it's Marcus and he seems to fall fast in these situations, which is why I didn't think he'd be a good lead. So did he propose at the end ON the show? IMO, way to fast, but wish them the best and hope they can make it work.

Chantal was in love with Brad and she got engaged out of the bubble pretty darn quick. Both Jenni Croft and Melissa went back to their exs in a hurry and they did not have the bubble influencing them.
I do realize that Holly and Blake got engaged after filming was done but she went on the show and actually spent time with Mike and even went on a successful date with him while on BP. I thought their engagement was pretty quick also considering there was another guy somewhat in the mix there - Mike still though he had a chance with her on that show.

The bubble is pretty darn potent when so many contestants fall for the lead without spending half as much time as what Marcus possibly spent with Lacy since it was more an an exclusive type dating rather than what contestants on The Bachelor/B'ette seasons face with multiple partners.

I do agree it is awfully soon but now am super curious to see how it went down. I wasn't going to watch BIP because of some of the characters that I don't like but I think I have RS and his annoying constant leaks to thank for being curious to see Marcus and Lacy date.

I for one am happy that I get to have you watch and help make fun of it with me. AshLee mooning over Graham, as he does his patented I don't really care about her routine - awesome. Michelle M falling for Marquel and when he says no thanks switching to Cody - more awesome. No one willing to go on a date with Kalon so he goes with himself - probably his favorite date every - awesome.

This is going to be a journey full of crap to laugh at. I can't wait!
