I haven't watched any post show stuff from Andi and Josh due to lack of interest, until today. Bored and killing some time so I watched a couple interviews. I find them really uncomfortable to watch and it stems from Andi for me and feeling like she is always putting on a nice act to cover a very not nice person underneath. Specifically, in the TV Guide interview I saw, in a very short clip they had 3 disagreements in what was supposed to be a cute way I guess, about his hair and doing dishes and then he said he'd have a baby yesterday and she very snarkily retorted basically "That's because you don't have to have it. So you wouldn't have had a baby because you can't. Gotcha." I found it anything but cute and really more like she was sort of sniping at him through her plastered on fake smile. Also Andi sounded like the farthest thing from a woman anxious to start a family, despite what she might usually say and it seemed disrespectful to Josh's very open wish for a family.
Not tryting to be super negative but I genuinely wonder if it's just me and my bias because I find her so off-putting at this point or did any Josh fans see sort of a simmering b****iness under the surface with her towards Josh already in the rest of their media? And for how long would he find that to be cute banter until it just seems mean and argumentative? Like, just watching it I thought, I wouldn't be able to stand being around her for long. So argumentative and not a sweet personal at all.
Anyway, done with watching their media since it didn't help me to like them more, best of luck to Josh, hope he gets out if he's not happy or finds he's not getting what he needs from this relationship.
I love that perspectives on the same videos can be so different. I only picked up on their ease and familiarity with one another and their shared joy and humor. It was quite amazing in the face of the uncomfortable questions regarding FS that they could be so united and in love to me!
I agree it is so interesting how we can see things so differently. As an admitted Josh/Andi fan (Andi was my favorite in JP's season until her handling of the FS situation with him but have really learned to like her again because of her relationship with Josh) this interview is one of my favorites post-show. Rather than an underlying snarkiness, I see Andi's growing ability to concede (Josh mentioned shaving his head and she quickly responded "4 minutes it is") instead of needing to "win" the conversation. And, indeed, she said in another interview that she is learning to capitulate more with Josh than she ever has with anyone else since he is her partner. I see a profound softening in Andi and, as you said, an ease and familiarity between them that seems to be grounded in Josh's easy-going manner.

I remember hoping that Roberto would soften up Ali and help her discover who she really is, rather than putting on an act a lot of the times.
This is what I hope for Andi, with Josh. I hope she comes to realize life has better things in store, than wanting to be a diva and being proud of it.
Josh is very close to his family. When people are close to their families, they have tendency to raise their children the same way. The result is you have cousins aunts and uncles, that are all very close.
I can see him wanting that in his future.

At the end of the day, she was suppose to choose one not both- people need to free Andi. she looks happy, Josh looks happy. They are doing everything that needs to be done to stay successful- They've stayed away from LA, did just the obligatory media required of them and are getting back to their normal life- I'm surely not waiting for the other shoe to drop- I am rooting for them. I feel they have a great chance of making it and will make it and even if they don't, eees okay too.

Just me personally, it took me a long time to learn the difference between being assertive and aggressive. I set a lot of people off before I learned the difference, and I can say for me that it may have been a loss, I will never know.
I see Andi as aggressive and not assertive, and it may cost her some opportunities. I find both the Murray women to be assertive not aggressive, so I hope that Andi can learn from that.
I don't think you have to be a pushover, but it never hurts to show a little compassion and try to see more than your side in anything.

I think that women are quickly judged as aggressive when they are strong and/or assertive. Surprisingly, we women are often the harshest judges of our own sex. Don't know why it is, but it always seems to be that way. Andi is a strong woman IMO (and in Josh's, who states he finds it a sexy quality to be a strong woman). It may well be that Nick will do better with a woman who is cerebral like Andi, but a little less assertive. Josh on the other hand seems to enjoy being challenged and (in Andi's words) "stepped up" each time he was.

It's all in the eye of the beholder.... Andi is Andi and the Murray women are the Murray women I don't know either, I don't like comparing people everyone is different, I like Andi, that's all I got....

haha... best post of the day.
Andi is Andi and I like her too but more importantly I like her with Josh or should I say I like the Andi I see when she is with Josh. He softens her and brings out the best in her. Clearly they are both madly in love. I hope it lasts and time will tell, but I have a feeling these two are in it for the long haul.
They have been seeing each other everyday for almost three months now, and seems like they are still attached at the hip! LOL

soccermom333 wrote:Just wanted to come back and add a few more thoughts. Josh knew everything and is definitely okay and has moved on and past what Nick said. He told his Mom our relationship started the day I put a ring on it! Now, Andi, that is a different story. She is more upset by it than what she is letting on. Josh has been there for her, comforting her as always. She even tweeted "I love you more than you will ever know." He is her rock.
Most women, myself included, would be upset and probably embarrassed. This is why most bachelor/ette alumni are on Andi's side. They know Nick "broke the code" and outed Andi on live TV. They were all cringing when he did this. I believe no final 2 or 3 has ever gone there before. Certainly Nick is not the first final 2 the lead slept with, (I won't mention names) and he wont be the last.
What is done is done. Andi will heal and do so with Josh by her side, and be stronger for it.
During the season, there were some that were questioning if Josh was really in love with Andi. Was he just highly infatuated with her? Was it being in the "bubble" that made him feel that way? Well, IMO, there shouldn't be any doubt now. Josh has shown that he has all of the love and support in him to help the woman that he loves, Andi, to rise above the negativity. It is a beautiful thing to see, I have to admit. With Josh continuing to be her rock, I have no doubt that they can make it as a couple.
