Andi is in La..
Where is Nick still in LA?
It would seem she would want o watch the FD episodes with her F1. And that is why most times the MTA/WTA the F 1 is somewhere close to do that.
It seems she hasn't watched to many episodes with her f1 in a while right? I think the past 3 has been with her GF.

Ok My take on this is as follows ...

1.  He was messing with her ( hence his little smirk )
2. He was not gonna let her dictate when gave his feelings to her.
3. She knew he was calling her bluff  By the eye roll

Josh has her number. He has always been 1 step ahead of her and I think it throws her off JMO

to me it doesn't make sense that they'd have that exchange where she's grilling him about "Are you good at being vulnerable?" the same day they're putting a yellow candy wrapping ribbon around his wrist to symbolize the date......

I know I keep going back to JP and Ashley, but it's the season I know best... we got a whole big deal about leap of faith and JP taking it while not knowing how she felt about him, up until the very last minute where we even hear them say after she says she loves him:

JP "I waited for ever to hear you say that"
Ashley "I waited for ever to tell you"

Turns out she had said it at least 2 episodes before...

Let's not take everything they say as 100% true IMO

Yupp. She didn't  like what Andi did but loved how Josh handled the situation.

I admit there was maybe a little of that going on here from his side, but at the same time, I do think her happiness and comfort is most important to him, which is why he told her that he'll never break her heart and that he's comforted just being with her. Mind games or not, he was pretty open and willing to give her whatever she needed from him so she would be happy and feel secure in their relationship. And then of course the roses at the htd sealed the deal, he told her he's proposing and wants her to be his wife.

Here's what she wrote...ICan't say I disagree:

Okay. So, about that "lack of effusiveness." I don't think Josh isn't effusive. Or rather, that he's not effusive enough. But more on that later. For now, we have what I found to be a very frustrating exchange between the two.

First of all, I know this is just a sliver of a LARGE pie that is their day-long date together. Of course the one conversation that addresses Josh's (in?)ability to emote is the one to get plucked and aired. But in this conversation Andi really doesn't seem to trust Josh and, in this conversation at least, has a tendency to hear the worst in what he says and put words in his mouth.

Andi: How fun is it going to be for you to go home and, like, tell everyone where you went.

Josh: I'm just excited to see my family and talk to them about everything. That's what I'm most excited about. I can't wait. I cannot wait. (He is very sincere as he says this and it is actually very sweet) I want you to talk to them about it, too.

Andi: Maybe. (why say this?)

Josh: (endearingly nonplussed) Without a doubt, that's what I'm most happy and excited about.

Andi: Yeah?

Josh: Mmhmm.

Andi: Happy or nervous? (again, why?)

(Cue ominous music. This conversation sounds cut up here. What Josh says next doesn't sound in response to Andi's question, which makes me take this entire exchange with a grain of salt.)

Josh: You know, those are the only people that I, like, am vulnerable around. Family and people I love. It's always tough showing that.

Andi: You're not good at showing it? (NO, don't say this!)

Josh: (honestly) It's not easy by any means, you know? That's never the easy par–

Andi: (interrupting) Are you good at being vulnerable? (Noooooooooooooooo!)

Josh: (again, honestly) This is very tough. (Bless his heart.)

Then, even faced with this...
... a brave and resolute Josh continues...

Josh: I know what I'm here for. You're what I'm here for. But it's tough at the same time, you know? Especially with the feelings I have for you.

Andi: You have feelings? (Sigh.)

Josh: (grinning) Maybe just a little bit. (His making light of the interrogation saves them both)
My money's on this ITM being the same one as the one with the nondescript top, and that it was done awhile after the fact, when those date outfits were long gone.

Anyway, none of that really matters because Josh finally succumbs to Andi's leading questions and tells her he's falling in love with her. This obviously results in Happy Andi™:

Note the makeup and background for the ITM going into the evening portion of date, when Andi continues to voice her doubts that Josh "can even express what he's feeling." Her hair is pulled back but her makeup is the same, and – notably – the sweater is NOT the one she's wearing on the date.

alright my boardies let me preface by saying IMHO the yellow ribbon has enough reasonable doubt around it as sleuthed material for it to not be allowed in court... totally butchering that legal lingo & with that it's been fun for kicks and giggles... thanks for having me - i realize though it's been a tough thread for me to explore diff possibilities, the enjoyment of a cohesive thread is quite real so please carry on!

She would never pick someone who couldn't.   I really don't believe, anyway, based on my experience with other female friends who are into mind games - and who seem to have strange power over men, .   The best guy is one who sees everything you are, loves you anyway, but definitely can keep up mentally.
