That is surprising. I guess so many Bachelorettes have let their "F2" leave before proposing (Des, Ali, Emily) that TPTB didn't give her that option because they wanted to change things up.

i meant nick is there at the ATFR not the FRC. sorry if i was confusing.

That actually does make sense. I think that the letter he wrote is going to be a big part of the ATFR, like Arie's letter for Emily was.

Do the F2 guys even get the option of skipping ATFR?

I believe they are contractually obligated to film an ATFR if they are F1 or F2. Of course the show could choose to let them off without enforcing that, or could allow them to film something different than a "normal" ATFR. For example on Jason's season Melissa was present at the "special closed set" filming where she and Jason "officially" broke up, and according to someone who represented Melissa that fulfilled her legal contract so she was not present for the "ATFR2" (Jason was with Molly for that filming).

The best FU to this show is seeing how well the men do upon release(elimination--post filming).
Obviously, all the guys are doing well, appear happy and functioning back in the real world.
It's gotten to the point, anything I see on my screen regarding this show =bs to me. They do what they have to to film the show and move on. So whatever monkey hijinks shown with a letter will be just that hijinks. I don't put a lot of real motive or feeling into it.

If Nick was forced to cooperate with TPTB to play along with the letter (due to the $5 million contract violation threat), it may be his version of protest...to let his fans know why. He's TPTB's b!+ch...sadly.
