US Weekly is about 80 to 90% correct on this franchise, so I'm going with the filming being the wrap-up of a post-FRC plot point.  They like to extend that out.  Arie getting his journal dumped back on him on live TV ... that sort of thing.  They have to plan a segment like that for the LIVE TV EVENT OF THE SUMMER, beyond a straight-up airing of a proposal and happy couple and sad rejectee who is getting closure.  They may have led him to believe she had second thoughts, etc.  Who knows.  But there's some "coda" after the finale was taped involving Nick, I will guarantee US Weekly has a source on that.

To me it would make the filming in Milwakee make a lot more sense, maybe has to do with why he was in LA, as it appears he did not meet up with any of the guys that we are aware of, which I think is quite odd.

Part of me wonders if true, whether Nick had to make a deal with TPTB after the infamous video got out, and this "trying to get you back" was part of it, might also explain his tweets promoting the show all the time.

I am trying to figure out a possible rationale for including Bella in the filming - I could see that eliciting sympathy and/or compassion  for him (as an aside, I do think Nick's interactions during the HTD with her were precious) but why involve a 9 year old in what sounds like a fiasco?

Kids are props to them. TPTB are probably bummed out that they didn't have the progeny of a single parent to exploit this season.

Looking at this from a different angle. Maybe, the edit of Nick was on purpose, maybe even the controversial plane video no one can decide whether it is real or not also played a role. Maybe in MF's devious mind, he thought of a way to make a guy so memorable was by having him being somewhat controversial in the way he was edited and disliked by a lot of SM that what a better way to shock the masses than to make him the next Bachelor. We are starting to see a different side of Nick the last couple of episodes, so the edit is starting to smooth out and maybe the final chapter is Nick trying to win Andi back and losing out but deciding he's ready to take a chance on love again.. just rambling here.

I don't think we know that his sister was included in any filming. That was purely speculation. The picture he posted with her I believe was posted hours after when he was seen with the producer.

For all we know he went and saw his family afterwards since he was in town.

True, although some posters remarked on perfectly styled her hair looked but that may not mean anything...

I can see them involving his sister as a part of the plot, where he tells her that Andi does not pick him and she is sad. This could work for either the tabloid story of him trying to get Andi back or the possibility of next bachelor or both..

I don't think I would want him to do it - it'd be like making a deal with the Devil.  Like MF is saying "Here Nick in exchange for a somewhat crappy edit, countless SM abuse, and losing out on the girl, here's your consolation prize" - which may or may not be a good edit either.  I like Nick too much to want him to remain in MF's realm.

I don't have the talent, but would love to see somebody edit the lyrics to reflect actual past contestants on this show (in place of the historical names Mick sings). It would be a hoot!

Also, in the plane video, Nick said she was too stubborn to change her mind, so if we believe the video is true, what would he asked her for second chance? Isn't it contradictory to what he's said?
If the article is true, no way TPTB was not involved. IMO

The article said Nick went back, not sure when, to ask andi for another chance. It said she made it perfectly clear and said no. "They" said he went from heartbroken to bitter. I can only imagine TPTB had a hand in this for sure. No wonder Nick appears to be mad about it. This reminds me of Reid with Jillian all over again.    TPTB are ruthless and this should surprise no one! IMO

In everything I've seen or read he seems perfectly fine.  He posted on his Instagram that being on the Bachelorette was an #incredible experience  :Nod:

This reminds me of Reid with Jillian all over again. TPTB are ruthless and this should surprise no one!  IMO

I guess Reid wasn't too mad at production since he agreed to be on Bachelor Pad 3.
