Honestly speaking, has there been a worse villain than Courtney? These "villain" edits of Nick are so tame compared to Courtney's. I just don't care for the edits .... they don't make me change my opinion of Nick.

I was looking at the bracelet on one of Nick's instagram photos.

It looks like it has shells in the middle. The type of leather tie bracelet you'd buy as a souvenir from the Dominican Republic.

I have several bracelets like that but I don't wear them all the time.

Jen could you post the pic of the bracelet?

Eric also wore a variety of bracelets on the show and one looked like this.
He may have given it to Nick?? (the one on his right hand or one similar)

I would think that there has to be some significance to the bracelet.
However, I can hardly see him wearing it today, as in the case of Andi giving it to him before she dumps him.

The beaded bracelets (and necklaces) are very popular these days with guys. My son has quite a few of them and wears them all the time. They wear them casual as well as in business suits while working.

DR is supposed to be the place he got dumped. So, if I were Nick, I probably would want to forget about it ASAP. Why wearing it all the time? To remind himself to be humble? :headbanging

At this point, I don't really care whether Nick is F1 or not. I'm more interested in watching how Nick would grow each week. He started off with so much doubt, now he's the one who's falling the deepest. It's fascinating how a smart, sensible guy can be so vulnerable and sweet at the same time. Total package! This is so much better to watch than romantic movies and TV drama. LOL. If Andi decided he’s not the one, then it is her loss. I’d take him in the blink of an eye, but where should I throw my 3-year hubby? Haha.

For the record, I like Nick and what I've seen of him so far.
I haven't seen ANYTHING yet that I would think makes him a person of evil intentions, insincere character or whatever else they are trying to conjure up about him.
I really do believe that TPTB are doing a 'number' on his edit for some reason.
Why?
Ratings? Maybe.
Payback? Possibly.
Make the others look better since they always need some sort of a villain and all the guys are just too nice this season. (No villain material this time around in the final 8.)

Granted, Nick has a certain smugness that imo is part of his skeptical nature.
Smugness also shows in his body language. This may also be perceived as being arrogant but also as being aloof, or cautious.
IE. He is not as flagrant in his PDA /affections towards Andi (as Josh is) when he is in a crowd / in public.
He may be more aware that he is 'on camera' and therefore holds back from extreme or overt PDA.

I don't believe that he is arrogant but that he is confident, especially in regards to how he perceives his standing with Andi.
Confident people can be wrong btw. But being wrong doesn't make one arrogant.
He may have overestimated his relationship with her but that still does not make him arrogant.

He is also the oldest one of the bunch, and actually 8 years older than Marcus.
This may or may not have some bearing on the pecking order.

The way TPTB spliced and diced his confrontation with Cody in the previews was much different that what actually transpired.
We saw Nick apologize and be genuinely friendly with Cody.
I am thinking that these latest previews are similar - spliced and diced to create drama and put Nick in a negative light.
And once again, the question begs to be asked, "WHY?"
Really, WHY are the editors working soooo hard to make Tricky Nicky the villain when we know he hasn't done anything (that they have showed us) that is so dastardly.

I like all of the final 6 guys.
I like Andi.
The final 4 all seem to be good guys imo and I don't think she could go wrong with any of them.
FRC will be a win-win for her and for Fleiss I believe.

In the meantime, I love turning over every stone. Never know what surprises can pop up.

Yes, I see that these are different but Eric had one on for their 1on1 that was a thicker braid. He appears to have worn a variety.
I just don't want to read something more than necessary into Nick's bracelet and send us on a wild goose chase.
I do believe his recent instagram pic was interesting in regards to the bracelet question but how to interpret it. ??? :headbanging
