Wow, JBF, that's quite the elephant. I have no clue how you can decipher all of this so well. I remember in Ashley's season, Ben was always so confident, I'm sure TP had some say in that, but I would guess that was a large part of why he was so pissed when she let him go at the FRC. Nick is very similar in that, his confidence, and would explain his anger/frustration in the plane video if true.

I still have a difficult time believing that Chris, with his edit, doesn't have a larger roll in this season other than f3. Even though he hasn't had much time shown with Andi at this point, he's had so much camera time with key phrasing over him. If he's the next lead, I really don't understand this logic..at all. If he's the f1, I don't understand their logic either, but it would explain his edit.

Last episode at the RC, when Chris pulled Andi out to lay one on her, Andi sounded worried, I loved that. And quite frankly she should have been worried, after what she did to him and the other guys...if I were Chris I probably would have left, but then again, I have no idea what their connection is, from what we haven't been able to see.

I'm curious to see how tomorrows HTD goes. Will Andi actually show some feeling or will she give the typical filler??

Oh yeah. Maybe he got it in his Brussels' gift pack. That is the one screencap that, going by the Sesame Street song, is not like the others.

I still don't understand why so many here think Chris is not getting any "F1 Edit". It is not like we saw a hellavah lot of heat between Juan and Nikki either last season. Just him showing her off to the kid first.

Chris is, simply put, The Secret Admirer. That is the direction they are going. Now that he is exposed, they got to go to Plan B. No telling what Plan B is. I guess make sure she keeps slobbering over Marcus, Josh and Nick like there's no tomorrow. Her body language on the baseball diamond is, like, OMG! How can she choose anybody but Josh? That man is... A... Stud! Go ask Craig.

She cancelled two cocktail parties this season. Why? Because production want to make bloody damn sure all of the guys... and viewers... stay UN-focused on the farmer? Lordy Lordy knows why. At least Josh got his time in on episode #4 before she had her hissy fit with Eric, exposing The Truth about her dumping guys each week as a ritual... and not enjoying it.

By the way, where the heck was Chris in episode #3 during all of the Andrew Hostess Phone Number Drama? I counted the heads in that room and he was O-U-T.

This is the season of The Weird. Everything is weird to Andi. The edit is weird too.

Eric was the first to really use the word and it has been stuck on Andi's brain ever since. Eric was talking about the M-word in episode #2: "The biggest part of it is seeing other people that I knew and loved before get married and I still know and love them. They didn't disappear. They didn't become weird."

Yet EVERYTHING is weird to her on this show. When will it stop being weird?

Poor Brian. His not kissing her like Kippy did Jillian in Vancouver over veggies getting chopped was... "It’s kinda weird that it is so weird."

Well... Nick said this in Marseille: "There’s no denying it is not going to get weird." *chuckle chuckle* Two negatives make a positive! That means the end result will not be weird at all (a.k.a. marriage, as Eric predicted). Yet Nick then comments on the present situation: "It is weird but I am not going to be insecure about that."

Andi, Andi, Andi... "Chris is always that dash of hope when it’s a bad day and times it is rough, it is weird how Chris is always there to swoop in. I like it." Weird, yes, but you still like it. Before giving Chris his rose in Venice, she says in front of the guys "I’m not gonna lie, it is getting weird for me." Oh really?

I chuckle over last year's hometown promo and Desiree’s "butt in the air" with Chris’ dad in his office: “not weird at all”.

Ugh... speaking about butts. That is all we heard about during the first two episodes. From Emil telling her out to pronounce his name out of the limo to Nick Esss showing off a part of him stripping that "no woman wishes to see" to Craig requiring the black bar when stumbling into his room... Not weird at all.

I still don't know why she carries on like this over Cody...
"It is a very weird feeling. Seven guys left… and I’m like… I dunno. I don’t ever want to be the cause of somebody’s pain or heartbreak or anything. I would rather feel the pain than I did last night, like, a million times over then do what I just did, like, I’d rather it be me than anyone else."

Does she choose guys deliberately whom she thinks will "heartbreak" her or something? I hope we don't have a repeat of all of that silly business in Antigua again, in which her F1 has to "put me back on track" after Boo-Hoo Time. That storyline is getting old.

JBF - Going to disagree with you on one of the points.

They showed a building relationship with JaunP and Nikki in each and every episode. We saw 1o1n times both on the group dates and pre-RC with JP/N, we saw JuanP going out of his way to check on Nikki during GDs and draw her out of the background. Every episode. The editors did not keep that swept under the carpet at all.
Besides JuanP couldn't stop touching Nikki and their kisses were real and now showmance "crazy pretend" chemistry like he had with others.

Which they haven't done the same for Chris and Andi.

That is why we are saying that he does not have the f1 edit and IF he is F1 we will feel gipped and count him as a wth F1 like Jesse or more recently Jef.

Didn't Andi do a PI that she definitely was taking Marcus and Josh to HTs and then she was giving Nick the GR ? She was deciding over the remaining 3. That does not tell me that Chris was top of her list or for that matter anywhere near the top at the F6 stage.
Therefore IF he is F1, he would have defaulted to the top at HTs.
Perhaps all that large gleaming equipment did make the wheels in Andi's head turn who knows ?

JBF you make some good points.... Maybe when Team Nick was facing off against Team Josh as to who was spending July 4 with Andi on a lake, she was in Iowa, all along. Also I noticed in the US article posted in the media thread, that Chris was the only one of the Final 4 quoted and again it was all about his life in Iowa being a concern that he and Andi shared... I am definitely curious about tonight's episode to see what unfolds. But I also must agree with nd4reality in that Chris is F1, I will feel as gypped as I did during DeAnna's season too. If TBTB wanted to hide the love story, they may have overplayed their hand this time.

I think you took me a little too LITERALLY, nd4reality. I was not saying that is ALL he did... (i.e. show her to his daughter).

Also this show is not ALL about The Rose, as even Chris pointed out when he got it in Venice. You do realize the guys are placing too much importance on roses and 1 on 1 dates this season, more than past seasons.

Ha ha! When Andi made a big hoopty-doo about that rose on the group date being HUGE... and Chris Harrison OVER-congratulated Nick at that rose ceremony about her coming to Milwaukee, I had this memory...

... and, NO, I am not saying Nick is just like HER, but the whole set-up was hilariously similar. They were OVER-emphasizing that stupid rose's importance.

Because Chris has only had 1 1-1 date, and because it was so early, he therefore can not be f1. Because they are only showing Andi hot and heavy with the other 3, Chris can not be f1. Because "you know who" said so, Chris is therefor not f1. I don't know, it's weird... if this is the case, then why is Chris getting this kind of edit?

Why choose Chris to have all of these camera shots and VO's over him? Why not say Marcus? Or even Nick, which would make more sense if he is indeed f2? Why put the story line in that Chris is the one to always swoop in and make her feel better? This being shown after her spat with Josh, which if he is f1 that would be a tough pill to swallow, seeing your new babe say she needs another guy to make her feel better after her time with you. Why put in that bit from the last rose ceremony of Chris taking Andi away and planting a kiss on her, why show that now? Why is Chris the only one to have added PI's to his intro package? It's all too weird for me!

JBF i always read what you have to say but i would be shocked (not too too much laugh out loud

) if Chris was the final 1, honestly i don't see it as of now, maybe it'll change, we have three episodes to go.
