Bachelorette 10: Edit-Storyline - *SPOILERS* - should we bother? Oooohhhh... why not? part 2

I'm not so sure Nick's edit is due to the plane video. It seems to have been a tame season with most of the guys getting along so they used what they had and Nick gave them a lot to work with. They're more about working the edit and if it didn't play into what they want they're not going to do it. I remember a lot of conversations about how Courtney couldn't be the f1 because she was the villain but I believe they felt they had to use what she gave them and then there was the skinny dipping. She was never going to be liked by the viewers yet she was f1. I don't feel Nick rises to what she did by any stretch of the imagination but it was going to be a boring season without them jacking it up (in their minds of course). I don't think it matters whether Nick is f1 or not because they don't really care if we're in love with the f1. All they care about is drama and a surprise if they can manage it. Even better if they can fool RS along the way. I still think Josh is most likely the f1 but wouldn't be surprised either way.

I'm not so sure Josh is getting a great edit either. I've read blogs where they don't like either Josh or Nick. All the ladies at my work seem to love Marcus. Chris needs to get more screen time before we can see if he's in the running for f1 or the Bachelor. Right now it's hard to see either.

  I agree 100%. Neither is getting a perfect edit and I wouldn't be surprised if either was F1. As I said yesterday I am leaning towards Josh being F1 at at this point but may change my mind as we get more SCs etc. it would only shock me if Chris is F1 (I want him for myself if he would just move closer to Des Moines  ). But neither Josh or Nick as F1 would shock me.

I'm ready for Josh (more) or Nick to be final 1, Chris will shock me (a little, even if i'm prepared for every possibility) if he does honestly.

I can agree with you that Josh does everything right, that he is perfect guy for Andi that they are probably happily together ..

but in my book, Nick has done nothing wrong ... even with this edit, they don't show me "his wrong-doing" but just other people's perception and negative attitude towards him ... as the edit would be telling me "we all hate him, you must too" ...

and I don't see why should I?

I would be more than thrilled if a guy would pursue me with such a persistence and dedication, honesty (because to me he is being honest), desire to get to know me better, to see me as much as possible, wanting to kiss me, touch me, ...
of course, if I would like the guy myself
and I don't think Andi is opposed to his advances, actually she pretty much encourages him with her actions and words (giving him roses and talking how much they click). So I don't see a problem.

Now I see that most people prefer the gorgeous, young and sexy Josh, with the chemistry over the roof, but I wonder are all Nick's actions/words so horrible to justify all the backlash he is getting, all the creepy names that people call him?
I wish I could say that those people writing such an awful assertion are just the teenagers who haven't experienced all the love in the world ... but we know better that that's not the case.

I find the bolded unfair. It's an edited TV show. Edited just a little bit differently and Nick would have looked just fine. Plus I think Josh and Nick are totally different people who handle things differently. Nick is more sensitive. Doesn't mean he was going about it "wrong." He was in the F2. If it was how someone does it "wrong" he would already be gone.

I agree it's an edited TV show, but my concerns with Nick if what the guys are saying is true, he dosen't seem to have regards for anyone else's feelings. I know you want to get the girl, but to disregard other and not being considerate of other people's feelings is not a flattering trait at all. To do everything TPTB tell you to do even knowing that it isn't the right thing to do is not good either., and I agree they can edit it to make it sound worse then what it actually is ( and that's probably the case in most incident's but not 100% of the time. Much of what Nick said was his own words that are making him look heartless. jmo

   What to do and what not to do, especially in a group setting. That I don't care  about others attitude has rubbed most people the wrong way, and  is really working against him just like it did with Clare. Now, he has zero chance of being the next bachelor, I see Chris being the next bachelor, Unless they pick someone from the outside, and will definitely watch. In addition to being a gentlemen and a caring person, I think he is absolutely gorgeous.JMO

I think average viewers just watch and don't tweet about the show. As I said before my co-workers don't like Josh and won't be happy if he's f1. I thought some of them would love him because he's a normal type around here in Texas. They seem to think he's a player and isn't being honest with Andi. These are people who may hear spoilers once in a while but don't go on MBs or seek out info on people on the show. They all like Marcus and think Chris is nice but that's about it.

The average viewers are also likely to believe the editing which isn't good for Nick. They don't likely know that he's now friends with some of the guys complaining about him on the show. So what I don't know is whether he's getting a negative edit to make people happy that Josh is the f1 in comparison or is it they're trying to fool viewers into thinking Nick can't (or better not) be the f1?  

I still go back too.that Ick is posting pictures of him and Andi during the season..Josh hasn't posted NOT on of just him and Andi.a few group date pictures and generic tweets about the show..
It's just so odd to me that the F2 ( spoiled) is so happy aout the whole show and his time spent with Andi.

I would like to know why Josh is wearing that candy ribbon p.maybe we will see the other one appear during the show.

I can't wait to see more sc come tomorrow night.I have doubts we will see anymore past FD.

If it was true that the guys said he had no regards for anyone's feelings then why is it that Nick has so many true friends from the show. That speaks volumes to me..... Maybe it has to do with the edit since if it was not for Nick being part of this show it would be one boring season.

  ITA, IMO, he comes out very heartless. I am with Marcus, saying if I had a sister/daughter, I would not want him to end up with him, it's that smug look of arrogance and his words about others that really bugs me, obviously not just me, but looking at twitter, 90% of people feel that way.
There is a reason there are 25 guys, and not just one. Because, we get to see not just the way the F1,2,3,4 are with the lead, but also the way they interact with others. Nick not getting along with others must be a red flag for Andi and his PI that we are not seeing bcse they want us to believe he is F1.
