Chris’ mommy (?) to Andi: If you love somebody, you’re gonna make it no matter where you live
Nick speaking to Mommy: There is something about her that makes me feel like she is a half of me that’s been missing.
Mommy: Have you told her you loved her?
Nick back: I’m just waiting for the right moment. (voice-over) My mom knows me better than anyone. If she doesn’t support me, this ‘thing’ is over / final shot has Andi’s van leaving Nick
Harrison to everybody: Eric Hill was in a serious accident. We learned this morning that he passed away. / reaction shots of Andi and Nick, somebody says OMG
Marcus: It is the last thing you would ever expect / Nick looking up, Chris and Andi’s heads down, Josh foreground out-of-focus
Deanna (oops!) sobbing before RC with Harrison: There’s a part of me that doesn’t know how to comprehend everything that is happening.
Andi voice-over: I don’t know how to get through tonight / Andi before guys
Andi sobbing to Harrison: I’m not, like, prepared to deal with, like, all of this at once
Andi leaves with rose at ceremony
Andi: I don’t think anyone can imagine… / Marcus shown

WOW, a lot of work there JBF..... Lots to think about and sort out.

If I am getting you right, there are a lot of similiarities between past F1 setups in Emily, Des and Ashley`s that matches up to Chris. Now I know Josh got some too, but overall, more-so in Chris`s favor

Question:  Regarding the RC standing order, do the guys line up according to order that their HTD date occurred?

I don't think so. Usually the guy/s who leave are in the middle so they can be hugged by the other guys. In the preview I noticed that Nick was at the end with Marcus beside him and then Chris. Looks like it will either be Marcus or Chris on the chopping block.

These are… weird. I was scratching my head trying to figure them out.

Nick’s first date in Santa Barbara had a lot of dogs on leases shown, which did not make any sense to me at the time. Yet… with that in mind, it is quite surreal that he mentions a dog in his talk with Brian here before the group date both attend…

Nick to Brian: Tomorrow is an opportunity for me to… to not do anything crazy but just have a better mind set…
Brian: Definitely
Nick: … and not be salty as Andi described my attitude. Any time I have an opportunity, it is exciting for me, um, and anytime I’m challenged, um, it’s exciting. I didn’t come here looking for love. I thought it had to be, like, oh whatever, y’know, stick around… meet some great guys and then she’d send me home. The only great job’s she’s done is kept me around.
Brian PI/voice-over: I don’t respect Nick. Nick is a snake. Without a doubt, he’s playing the right games to get to the end. I won’t trust him as far as I can throw him.
Nick to Brian: Enough’s enough with the whole Good Guy Routine, y’know? Because it is almost, like, I don’t want to feel guilty for saying ‘Listen, Andi’s my number one priority. I’m gonna do what I have to do’, y’know? I told you I am not rooting for you any more. I’m not rooting for Chris or Dylan. I hope you guys aren’t rooting for me and, like, I know I’m extraordinarily fortunate to have two one-on-ones but, like, it is not enough for me, like, y’know? If I had gotten a third one on one, I wouldn’t be, like, here you are Dylan. You need it more than I do.
Brian PI/voice-over: That’s the comment I would use. He could care less about us. I guarantee he doesn’t know my last name. Guarantee it. He says Josh is one of his best friends and I can see right through his bulls**t.
Brian to Nick: I’ve grown really close to Josh recently.
Nick: But we can agree that they are terrible for each other. I think he would make a great friend, um, and I look forward to marrying Andi on a mountain and, y’know, going with Josh to his brother’s football game and, y’know, watching Aaron Murray sling some touchdowns and introducing Josh to our new dog Murray.

Josh and Marcus discuss Nick… and strategy

This is while the others are on their date. I noted on the other thread that Josh knew he would get a hometown regardless of the fact that he didn’t have a rose before the ceremony. He was THAT confident. Confident and at ease.

Josh: I could live the rest of my life without having any more group dates and be a happy man.
Marcus: (Josh interrupts with a steady stream of “yups”, “yeahs” and “crazy”) This week is the highest tension week and the most stressed week because it is the week before hometowns and, yeah, I think everyone on the group date is feeling, um, feeling stressed. I mean, even going back to group dates, you and I… we have fun on group dates with Andi. We’ve both talked a lot about seeing her happy as well and making her enjoy the group date. Nick has a different opinion about it. It is either… yeah, he had a second one-on-one, but I don’t know, it is either he is going to flourish in this group date or he’s going to build his own grave because he was… he was very down and his attitude changed completely. He’s spoken to me about it, about being very unhappy about being on this group date. I’m sure he was expecting a third one-on-one, knowing Nick.
Josh: That is crazy. He does think a lot. He thinks a lot. He talks a lot about, y’know, what should happen here. If I go here, what should I ask? I’m like, I can’t… it is one of those things I can’t listen to anymore. I don’t like listening to it. It is not a game to me. I don’t like strategizing about certain places. How do I get to the top four? How do I do this? It is so much… it is not a game to me. It is not a game to you. It would be a shame if ‘they’ continue to be here just playing a game or something like that.

Odd thing about the edit here. The camera stays focused a lot on Josh as he talks.

TP have become wise to our ways and have changed thinks up to try to confuse us. However, I don't remember there being any contestants positioned at the ends who are eliminated.

Yeah.. I used to take those seriously until there were no more consistent patterns. Ha ha!

When the rose ceremonies are bigger, they do tend to keep certain front runners far apart so they can't see the lead's facial expressions easily towards their competition.

Do we have the SCs layout of the f4 from past seasons ? There were posters who kept that stuff.

I used to, but it got too exhausting and there was no more consistency.

OK... I was wrong about Catherine. She was second to left, a traditionally "dangerous" position post-hometown. Marcus is in her spot. Lots of people left in that position other seasons though.



Zak and Shawntel left after hometowns too and were "end" people.

Chris is in Brooks' spot and Marcus is in Drew's spot. Nick is in Zak's spot (bye bye).
