@JPRosenbaum Just not getting the arrogant vibe from Nick. #TheBachelorette
Right. Because JP got the similar edit. He has feelings for Andi, she went on a date with Josh this week (which I am sure he knows is his main competition) and he was uncomfortable. The guys are jealous. He probably shouldn't have agreed that he thought he was a frontrunner, but he was just being honest. Have you read her blog? She doesn't like being a "prize." Ok.
Is she serious? She is the 'prize'.
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Re: Nick Viall - Bachelorette 10 Contestant - Spoilers - Discussion - Thread #3
Andi's comments about Nick from her blog
Episode 1
When it came time to hand out my first impression rose, I had a lot of great options – Chris, JJ and Marcus to name a few – but my instinct to give it to Nick V. was definitely reaffirmed when I had some time to talk to him. I saw a lot of his personality in myself. I remember how skeptical I was that first night and I saw it in him. I wanted to give him the rose to let him know to have a little faith in me and in this process as well. I wanted him to get over some of his fears.
Episode 3
It was my first time in Santa Barbara, and we stayed at the beautiful Bacara – right on the beach. My first date was with Nick. Obviously, he had made a great impression on me the very first night, and I wanted to get to know him more. Nick had voiced his skepticism about this whole process, so I thought he would enjoy a simple and very realistic date like bike riding and hiking.
During our picnic, I could tell Nick was nervous, but I found it endearing. While we were hiking, I knew I wanted to show Nick this special place to watch the sunset, but what you didn't get to see was that we actually had to climb through a narrow hole in a rock wall to get there. Once we got through that and were enjoying the sunset, that's when Nick went in for our first kiss and it was so passionate and romantic. Later that night, we met at the beautiful Santa Barbara courthouse for dinner.
Throughout dinner I found myself relating to Nick in so many ways. On a mental level, we were definitely connected, and for many reasons, it was an easy decision to give Nick the rose on the date.
The rose ceremony involved a lot more drama then I knew about! But there were some really sweet and romantic moments during the cocktail party too. Nick sending flowers was romantic, unexpected and yet so simple. I think it showed how realistic Nick was in this process. What I mean by that is, Nick made an effort to make this process feel more like we were dating back in Chicago. I really appreciated that, and as a woman, that's definitely how I want to be treated.
Episode 4
The Rosebuds and I had a cocktail party that evening, and I really enjoyed my time with them. Nick and I had great chemistry that night and was a perfect follow up to our one-on-one date.
Just like in Santa Barbara, I felt like Nick and I continued to have this intense mental and physical connection. The kisses were amazing and he definitely knows how to make me feel like a woman, and I loved how passionate he was.
Episode 5
Nevertheless, the guys were great sports as usual – except Nick. I know Nick and I had a great connection from our date in Santa Barbara, and I know it’s hard to adjust back to group dates, but I remember really not liking Nick’s standoffish behavior. Little did I know that that would follow through the evening as well.
As soon as I walked back into the cocktail party I could feel that something was off with the guys. I started talking to then individually and I got the sense that there was some tension between the guys and Nick – specifically that Nick had suggested to some effect that he was the "frontrunner." Obviously I don’t like this term, because it made me feel like this was a competition and that I’m a prize, and like Olivia Pope has said, "I am not a prize at the state fair. You cannot win me!" Needless to say, I was not happy at the turn of events that night.

I agree.lleyki wrote:emad0722 wrote:All my males friends rib each other and me all the time - its all in good fun. I don't think Nick meant to be hurtful but when Cody said it hurt him he quickly apologised. Have you ever meant to be funny and it comes out wrong? I sure have.
This. The scene actually ended up being so awkward and made the whole thing even more ridiculous. Cody starts getting all heated and Nick remains fairly calm and when Nick says, "Cody didn't you and I rag on each other a bunch of times and say things to each other", Cody pretty much says yes. At which point Nick says okay but then admits that he didn't realize Cody was so bothered by what he said and he apologized. At which point Cody's ire deflates and the whole thing seems even more ridiculous but suddenly all this drama is basically over nothing.
eta: Just saw JP's tweet - I knew there was a reason he's always been one of my favorites. JP and I are on the same page here. I said it last night but I really feel like the Nick drama had some bit of producer manipulation behind it. Like maybe there wasn't enough drama and so they started whispering in the other guys' ears.
I have also never been a fan of the "gang-up" on this show towards one contestant. I always often find myself siding with the one being ganged up on because I hate group-think mentality. On top of that, in BOTH instances, the editing showed the guys attacking Nick first. Last week was all Cody and Tasos once they realized they weren't getting any 1 on 1 time with Andi before the rose ceremony and last night, Cody and company were not the least bit subtle when they started the conversation, with the clear intent of leading to basically telling Nick they think he's arrogant because "how dare he - he thinks he's the frontrunner." I'm sorry, I just found the whole thing incredibly juvenile and contrived.
As for group mime stuff, while yes Nick should have just gone with the whole cheesy thing and have fun with it, I think Nick just ultimately thought the whole thing was stupid and didn't think it had anything to do with falling in love with Andi which these ridiculous things rarely do. Going by Nick's own words from the earliest episodes, he already had some skepticism about the whole show process and the ability to really find love in a situation like this. And I think with the whole miming thing he just kind of felt like "this is stupid - "how the hell is hanging around outside, looking ridiculous with a bunch of guys, not saying a word to the woman we're here for, going to help us fall in love with and build a relationship with her?" Yes, I admit it wasn't the most pleasant and fun attitude to have but I might have felt the same which to be fair is why I would never go on a show like this.
I would have been salty, too--or more likely totally overboard to counter it.
I guess the season didn't have much going, that the producers had to show drama last night with 2 different instances(the racial bit and then the frontrunner bit).
Cut the show down to 90 minutes and put in 5 minutes of bloopers.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, bye Felicia!

I'm looking forward to reading her next blog about their date in Venice. I loved how she arrived for the night portion of their date in a gondola with a mask you'd wear at a masquerade ball.
The dancing scene looked very romantic

I think Andi is doing a mind game with Nick after his 'I'm the frontrunner' stuff.

I think Nick deserved it after his pouting last night. But he is totally redeemable, I hope he shows humility moving forward. Anyway, he has banked enough good will that Andi seemed to have reprimanded him and then moved on. Nick showed possessive/jealous side, but then again, doesn't look good on TV.
Need to do something productive and stop hanging out in this forum (after Nick's season)

, Cody and Nick argued like a married couple with Cody playing the part of a "stereotypic" woman. (don't rag on me, I don't argue like that and so I don't think whoever reads this does either).
Night 1 of arguing, Cody talks about how he doesn't like what Nick did. They talk about it and Nick thinks that's been resolved BUT NO, Cody is still heated about it. He has more to say the next night, so he starts up again. He really goes at it until finally Nick figured "ok" he has a point so I'll apologize and then we can move on because we care about each other..
Apparently they really are friends in real life. Cody, Nick S. and Chris have plans to meet up with Nick. They discussed it on twitter.
Sure Cody & Nick make an odd couple but I think they're cute together
Yes, he was possessive & jealous and exposed these flaws last night. I don't think he is as confident in this relationship as he would like to be. That to me is realistic.

Nick favored this tweet by @kellytravisty
