In explaining why Josh didn't want to play baseball he said, I want a family.  She replies, you have a family.  

I thought that was an odd answer. Made me think she didn't want to discuss with Josh having a family. Maybe she doesn't want kids? Or at least, not for quite a while. If she ends up with Josh, will it be like another Ali/Roberto?

I kind of feel that way too - Andi doesn't seem to be the I'm ready to settle into a wife and mommy role, and she also isn't going back to work right now, so may have aspirations to ride this Bachelorette gig to the bank for a while and see where it takes her - no faulting her for that from me. That's my biggest concern re them as a couple after it all - even though I think they seem great together on the show so far - is that he has been not really in a serious relationship because he's waiting to meet "the mother" a la Ted on HIMYM, while Andi is not at the same place at all. Also he seemed so enamoured of her stepping out of the limo, before them speaking a word, I do really worry he was already in love with the idea of her and winning her heart. I hope it turns into genunine love for both. Definitely a great season to watch and dissect.

Also re foilers, though I respect everyone's opinions, most of the theories on here about foilers are not for me. However, that tweet is the first one I would totally buy as TPTB asking a seed to be planted. If they follow the sleuthing mood, and how so many see all the little links between Andi and Josh post show, they could give them a call and basically say "listen, this snap chat thing was too much, you need to put out a few tweets or pics to create some doubt with those following your every word and move" hence Josh tweets about not getting something he wanted but being grateful for what he has.

As far as Andi's family remark, I took it as a sly response in order to get more information from Josh. She wanted him to be specific and elaborate on exactly what that means (for her, in particular). Technically, she’s right to ask, he does have a family-and they seem pretty tight knit, so "wanting a family" can be a general term.

Yes, I agree, relaxing. I'm not generally a conspiracy theory type of person, however, this seems like a possibility (not saying it is) to me...if TPTB need to cast some doubt. Similarly (and perhaps this has already been discussed) the tweet about Josh going to Cancun could be fake. There have been no pictures, correct? If the tweeter is such a fan to know that it's Josh and specifically tweet Elan with this info, why wouldn't she (or he?) get a picture? That makes no sense to me. There hasn't been any other confirmation of Josh in Cancun, has there?

Why are so many convinced Josh would be the bachelor, if not F1? I am still thinking it will more than likely go to Chris. I know I would prefer Chris or Marcus. Just because someone thinks Josh is perfect specimen does not guarantee him the spot.

When Andi was discussing her list of things that were non-negotiable earlier in the season, I believe her desire to have children some day was one of those things.

Once we get the F4 it will be obvious who they are pushing as next bachelor.
For now, Chris seems to have fallen to the background since his date, Marcus is just 25. He would probably be the youngest bachelor yet. Josh or nick V. would be great choices.

Since, unlike with the Bachelorette, they have some time after the show finishes airing to decide who to choose as the next lead, I suspect that the role has not yet been firmly cast in the producers' eyes. I think they will wait to see how public opinion comes down on the F4 before they reach that decision.

I would guess at some point they will talk faith. It was one in the list of overlooked topics mentioned by Andy in her JPG exit speech.
Andi did have a quick convo with Eric about his religion but didn't share anything about hers.

Faith: clearly important in Josh's life. How that plays with Andi, not so sure, but since Andi brought it up last season and her interrogation er, questioning of each bachelor seems thorough, it will not have been a stone unturned. However, tptb think religion is boring, so it will not air.

2nd- Josh has said that he quit baseball not only because injuries stalled his ascent in pro-baseball but also because it was inconducive to finding a wife/starting a family. Knowing how many young women hang around minor league parks trying to meet guys, it's not because Josh didn't have the opportunity to meet women. It was more likely that he didn't have the opportunity to meet the kind of woman he wanted to marry and have a family with.

I think there is a very high incidence of divorce and/or infidelity among pro baseball players because the lifestyle of so much time on the road, combined with the temptation of groupies along the way, isn't conducive to a happy marriage. So I can understand Josh's comment, and that doesn't necessarily mean that he is looking for a wife to start popping out babies immediately.
