Again, I didn't see the episode. Maybe none of them wanted to go "comfort" her for fear of getting their head chewed off and sent the way of Eric.  :shocked!: CH said they were "bro-ing out" a lot. I just had an image of the storyboard editors standing the frontrunners in a line and saying eenie meenie minie mo.

Mura, looks like we are on same page for another Bachelorette season. I am anxious to see her date with Josh to compare the relationships but at this stage of filming and other clues, I see Nick as solid frontrunner.

YEP, and you have to wonder why...Either he is F1 or it's a smoke screen for the obvious F1, just depends on which side of the fence you are sitting on.....Like I said earlier the producing where hell bent on getting their desired script to play out so it is all manipulative the flowers and Nick going to console her.....What was telling about last night and how they manipulated that scene was when Josh said we all wanted to go to you, so that told me right there that the producers only wanted Nick to be the one....

i think its 50/50 share between Nick true intention and the producers.

Nick may had conveyed real intention to give Andi a flower bouquet to the producers. the timing and how it was delivered seemed beyond his control and knowledge. Evil Production indeed

Sure, but for this I'm going with Occam's Razor. The simplest explanation is the best. It was genuine.

But what do you think how Nick should do? Walk away? Shrug it off or just sit there to let them have it against him? One thing I have learned is Nick is not a shy person, and will take initiatives if need to. Before Nick went to Andi, all just sat there and Cody was saying this is a marathon blah blah blah, and I was thinking why y'all sitting there?

Exactly!!! I honestly think Nick was surprised that the guys were jealous, I mean, angry with him. He came back with Andi and said "look who I found". That tells me that Nick probably encouraged her to come back and talk to the guys. They should have been thankful that Nick went to calm her down before she came back with her head spinning. Could you imagine If no one went to check on Meandi? 

Nick looked annoyed while Cody was talking about a marathon, etc. I think the guys were thinking about themselves.. Because those particular guys, Cody,Andrew,an Tasos knew they would be going next and took it out on Nick. Funy that The ones who had established a connection with her didn't say anything to Nick about it. Brian even defended him on FB last night by retweeting what Nicks brother said. I think Nick was calm and a bit shocked at first.. Seems like Andrew kept on and Nick basically told him to shut up. I don't think nick is the type to start or even like drama, but it appears he does have a backbone when being attacked though!

I haven't seen the episode and it doesn't seem like it's worth the $1.99 on itunes so...  

It sounds like they needed to show the RC last night (after previously not deciding to show it) to advance Nick's storyline since the drama at (let's call it) the "lost RC" seemed to center around him.

Nick is smart and shrewd. He's skeptical so in some ways he's going to think he's better than the show. He thinks he has his head on straight compared to all of the other contestants in full competition mode. If he was smug, which is sounds like he was being, it's because he thinks the drama is silly, which it is. The thought of sitting around with a bunch of dudes all trying to perfectly calculate their next move so they can win is ludicrous to him. Courtney always got a kick out of how on edge everyone always seemed.. like this show is life or death or the end all be all to being romantically happy.

Probably every dramatic confrontation can always be handled better. I wonder how Andi would react to his way of doing things in the real world. I think he would challenge her, which I think is what she wants and needs, but I also think he's going find some of her antics to be silly as well which could send her into attack mode. Like any relationship it depends on how much you value the other persons opinion of you.

I still think no one will ever be able to handle confrontation better than Drew.

Great post! I honestly think Nick thought he would go home on night one. He looked completely shocked getting the FIR.

^^ITA. He had every right to be smug. He is not twisting any one's arm to advance his cause, and it is not his fault that he is focused on Andi instead of the bromance. Not totally a Nick fan yet but my .02 cents regarding the situation.
