They pay quite handsomely to be on that show MOST of the couples do it for the payday....I don't blame them LOL the producers more than likely contacted them with an offered that was hard to turn down.....

EXACTLY, they will have the usual annoying drama couples but for the most part most of the couples are just there.....I have watched this show and the doctors give good advice....

Well I have to say I didn't see that coming! The company on the upcoming Season of Couples Therapy is none too nice.

I am right there with you with the comments I've read here so far. I don't watch the counseling type reality shows either. Many people have benefited greatly from good sound counseling. For couples really in therapy, it can become a sacred moment for them. I notice Dr. Jenn is a psychotherapist and a sports psychology consultant, maybe sports is the tie in here. I'd really like to hear from JP and Nikki why they want to make this appearance.They may think they are strong enough together to go put on a show and make few bucks and walk away happy. I guess we'll see what their reason is for being there come Sept. 10th.

^^ Them making money is no different than a bunch of the other couples from this show. IMO they haven't been out seeking attention the job JP does throws them in the spotlight. I have to say the boy has had the opportunity to meet up with some very famous people and yet seem to keep a level head about him. He will have those that will be critical but so what everyone isn't your friend in this world.

I read they could get paid $40K each for 3 weeks of filming. If they went into it confident that no matter what gets discussed or exposed on the show, they will walk away from the experience a stronger and more committed couple then yeah why not?! I guess we'll have to wait and see how it all plays out. If filming is only 3 weeks and it doesn't air until Sept, we'll know if they survived it once they are done filming by their social media accounts and if they are seen together.

I remember JPG said in an interview in Spanish (cant' remember where I saw it) that he would do any other reality show if he thinks it would be beneficial for him and he joked besides the financial part. So, I guess this one will benefit him and Nikki? In a way it's a good thing becuase they both are taking the relationship seriously. Like I said, getting couple counseling can enrich their live as couple

Totally agree with your post Nonnie. In an interview with a Spanish magazine, JPG did not rule out joining another reality show. He said it will depend on the show's format and the monetary consideration. I would assumed that Nikki and JPG are aware of the ramification of joining the show. those who are not fans will always hate and be critical, what is important is they remain true to themselves. Whether they join the show or not, there is still no guarantee that they will make it in the end.
