Re: The Bachelor Australia - Season 2 - Blake Garvey - *Sleuthing* - *Spoilers* - General Discussion -
Thanks to all who provided links for the last two episodes. My impression is Blake is going all out to woo Sam.
During the time at his bach pad with Lisa and Sam, Blake has his arm extending across the sofa in the direction to where Sam is sitting. His arm is there when Sam starts to open up to him (if front of Lisa!!!!) but at the end of their conversation, you seem him holding her hand between his and carefully smiling. It was if he was trying not to beam!
The previews at the end for the upcoming episode show Sam getting a Cinderella date with Blake - her 3rd 1-on-1 date. I almost can't believe it - he must know he has to take it slow with her to get her to open up to him. For sure, she is getting a home town date and I'd be really surprised if she isn't one of the final 2.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how comfortable and affectionate he was with Louise. she's a contender.

LOL nice interview i liked the funny pie touch (wasn't fully buffering last time)
norcal - i thought that was kinda crazy to AND Lisa's indifference!!! hahaha...i love the lisa - sam girl crush happening they're adorable
yea -- the cinderella date and the dancing -- blake is really coming from all angles to grow this connection -- bringing the physical intimacy of dancing and romance
lousie is a cutie! I do think it started late but there's a real connection there... i almost feel like ALL The bach needs to be like the AU one!!! it's real people being their real selves looking for real connections (vs. aggressive manufacturing of connections)...i love it!

Do you think from what he says here that he says no to going to the fantasy suite as per Tim?

Maybe-- he's very aware of how the girls are being respected and portrayed to the public... if he does do fantasy suite he'd clarify that he'd want the private time but not more

I thought Tim made it clear to each girl what to expect in the fantasy suite. But I don't recall they not going there. I do remember Anna and Tim - Tim was frustrated with Anna's reluctance to say endearing things to him.

He didn't actually use the key with any of three girls. This was one of Rosie's funniest blogs from last year - "Tim reveals that he decided not to spend any ‘no time limits’ time with Ali. (That he knows about amiright, A? WINK.)" and "When he tells Anna that he doesn’t want to ‘no time limits’ all over her body, she cries. I love that the only time I’ve seen Anna cry on this show is when ‘no time limits’ sex got taken off the table. SEX."

Thanks AEF. Didn't read that blog last year and it is good! I do remember Anna being very relieved no SEX was involved in the date! Hard to believe now when you see photos or read about them. They are both really into each other!

It will definitely be an interesting comparison on Blake and Tim if Blake does decide to use the FS. I don't think it will be lost on the Australian audience.
Nothing new in this article - comparing Bachelor AU to US, just interesting to see it all in one spot, we could probably add to it.

wonder if Jess gave us the F4?Jessica: I just don't really believe in the whole competition thing, because everyone is so different, and ultimately only one person will end up with Blake, and the right person will end up with Blake. You can't compete or manipulate that. It's either the guy is meant for you, or he's not. I think the only time you bring competition into it is if you're weighing up threats, and I really worked consciously not to compare myself to the other girls. I'm not capable of being them; I'm not capable of being as funny as Sam, or as talented with designing clothes as Lisa, or as baking as amazingly as Louise. So based on that, you just can't compare yourself; it's unhealthy, you hold yourself to a standard you won't meet.
Chantal agreeing on the F4:
Popsugar: So who do you think Blake had the strongest connections with?
Chantal: There's about four of them I think he has really lovely connections with, and I think the viewers would probably agree. I see the connection with Louise, I see the connection with Sam, and Lisa, and Jess. I really, really hope he chooses Sam, because I love her to bits and she's just my number one. She was like my little sister in the house and we bonded so much. We have a very similar sense of humour and we were on the same page. I think he'd be missing out if he didn't choose her.

Cool interview thanks for sharing! I just love her!!! she's a superstar wish she had an interior design show on tv and i totally think osher would be a ridiculously lucky guy if he dates her...speaking of which -- osher has been pretty open about how incredible he thought the women were and that he's single himself -- maybe he'd be open to exploring with her??? wouldn't that be totally fun -- i'd be a big fan of that couple

I found this piece quite intriguing from her in context of what blake said to chantal when she left -- he said they've been like kindered spirits from the first time they met - if that's the case then I do see how he could also have that kind of deep friendship connection with Sam who Chantal is so close to and sees eye-to-eye with -- i think those two have been really tight from the very beginning
