I have the feeling three guys did late-in-the-season or post-show interviews. Why? Because Chris is wearing his basketball shirt in the same set-up when saying "The other team clearly has a huge advantage. The fact that Brian is not only is a basketball player, he's a coach... so he knows what he's doing." Clearly these are not pre-Connecticut.

Okay, here we go.

Here's the group one of Brian, Nick and Josh with all the same background and none of them are really sporting a "tan" so to speak





Then we have this one of Chris with the same mansion background as in the other group above.

I think what happened last season is that Clare got "over" Juan quickly enough and went ahead and defended her actions of "I will be me regardless", etc in post-show PI sessions. Maybe they thought she would be Bachelorette at the time and she or they changed their mind... or Andi was also their first choice anyway... whatever. Doesn't matter. Point is: she might have cooperated because she was over the finale situation.

If the basketball jersey and bow tie Chris PIs (a.k.a. talk about Brian the coach and "I can see Andi and I thirty years from now") were shot just after hometown, it just seems odd to me that they would go to the trouble to match his outfits. However, they did this sort of thing with Ashley H. on her season... post-show. She changed outfits to match dates, but sported that distinctive hair perm she had for a mid-May TV Guide interview, which easily "dated" those PI sessions as post-Fiji.

Now... suppose all three guys are "over" whatever happened in the finale and all agreed to do PIs post-show. That is possible. With Marcus and Nick, they are just discussing dates. However I just find it hard to believe Chris would discuss himself with Andi "thirty years from now" if he is a dumpee.

Since we have yet to see any Josh PIs matching these, I would suspect he doesn't make top three... and maybe two of these guys are in the running for next lead... or have a "significant other" already post-show and have "moved on" from Andi... or are friends with F1 "winner"... or... maybe... they attended a wedding. Ha ha! Yeah... rrrriiiiiigggghhhhht. You know I just throw "stuff" out there.

Hopefully we will get a Josh PI matching the above next week and then we can be pretty certain they date from hometown week... and That Is That.

In Epi 1 there is a shot of Andi laughing on a brown couch with patterned vases in the background. It's in a voice over. We never see her in a scene on that couch.

Also in that Epi is a Chris ITM. He is standing. Brown patterned wallpaper to his left, the same or similar vases to his right.

You might want to check that out.

Here's another variation of the green screen background. Since MIke is in one of the PIs, I think it's safe to say it was shot at the mansion.



Here's the PI of Chris that notarose mentions above, but he is not the only one with that background. Pretty sure these were done at the mansion.

I think that all of these pics were taken at the Mansion. And the ones with Chris,  Nick and Marcus were probably taken at the HTD rose ceremony time.
Here is an other pic to compare. Check out the lamp and gold vase (tall slender one) behind Marcus' head.
This assumption is made based upon the belief that the production team did not want to drag around those heavy decor objects - those also seen on the first night- to all their other destinations.

That is a given... that they are at the mansion. Just debating "when". It is also possible that Josh had no time for PI sessions after hometowns too.

I wondered that, too, mura (and thanks!). Perhaps someone might look at rooms at the Bacara to see if the background matches while I throw together some more PIs with my speculations.

Here's one thing I'm wondering...

These are PIs from the evening portion of the Boyz II Men date. Note Marcus and Cody seem to have their PIs on location. Josh, however, has a very unique PI background. One that only matches with Nick for later on in that episode.

Now, it's possible that those last two caps were taken back at the mansion, but then I question why no other guy has been shown in a PI with that specific background.

I was rewatching a youtube video of the second group date and I noticed that Josh's scarf was tied in the opposite direction to the one above. Pretty sure this PI was done at a later date ... maybe after HT.

JBF has probably talked about the quote below over on the edit thread, but I thought it was worth pointing out that it was said with this PI. Clearly, this was shot at a different time from Andi's other episode 2 PIs (see p2 of this thread). We heavily debated this last season, but the board seemed to come to a consensus that this is a traveling screen taken on location. Thus the question becomes was this PI filmed to help explain why Chris made it to the Final 4...to move along his edit? Was this PI shot in the DR? Does anyone recognize it belonging to another location that was traveled to? Or is it back at the mansion?

These are more or less the words Andi spoke during this PI with this background.

"After the group date, I was definitely down about this group of guys..and just wondering like, who's just down to party here and who's actually here for finding love? And then I went on my date with Chris and that was such a breath of fresh air."

When Josh was with Andi, his scarf was tied differently than when he's doing his PI. What does it mean ?

It means that the story of Andi's journey to find love is being tweaked to fit the story board.
