To clarify, there were more PIs with that background in the M & G; however, Andi only talked generally about the great group of guys she had or talked about MOT guys (I think JJ and Tasos).

So, you are correct that the only to key guys that Andi talks about with those backgrounds are Josh and Nick. I do believe those are key PIs because it sets up Andi's dilemma for the season...and shapes the edit for Josh and Nick. Just another reason to support those two guys being the final 2...at least, for me it is.

ditto with you Litta! ...another finding is it seems Josh and Nick storylines are built on episode 3..they both doing PI with a red-ish background (cant find it here). Its where Nick not sporting a 'handkerchief?' (IDK how to say it in English  ) in his pocket while he had it on the main episode.(the flower bouquet scene). Its note-worthy that Josh mentioned in his PI that he doesnt know about Andi's relationship with the other guys(talk about an unpleasant surprise in the end, huh??). I would assume it was filmed later on in DR.

I have the feeling three guys did late-in-the-season or post-show interviews. Why? Because Chris is wearing his basketball shirt in the same set-up when saying "The other team clearly has a huge advantage. The fact that Brian is not only is a basketball player, he's a coach... so he knows what he's doing." Clearly these are not pre-Connecticut.

^Most likely filmed at the mansion while the others were on their HTDs. The background has a mansion-y feel to me.

Do we have any for Josh? His basketball date PIs are in-the-moment (i.e. locker room and court), not with this backdrop like Chris.

^Not with that specific background yet. But of all the guys, only those three have it so far so that's why I said filmed around HTD date. The same thing happened with the F4 from last season where they had a background specific to just the 4 of them.

There is also another with Marcus and Tasos (and even Craig) during Magic Mike with the same props, but different lighting and candles. They are discussing the date in past tense. What baffles me are all of the wardrobe changes in these to match the dates. Particularly the basketball shirt. Yet they must have had plenty of time to do it after hometown dates.

What's really different this season from last is that most of the PIs are being done in the outfit to match the scene being discussed. Last season there were definitely PIs where the girls were talking about the situation on screen in a completely different outfit.

Yeah... um... the "gold" is on the basketball date. Chris has his red jersey on when he talks about Brian. This means the previous (above) foursome were post-hometowns... and potentially post-show if they got "dumpees" (i.e. F2, F3 or F4) to cooperate.

What is peculiar is that they have Chris changing outfits to match his dates.

Do you think tptb read here to catch their mistakes and prevent a repeat for the next season--The filler PI's last bachelor season was plentiful  you know with the weight gains and all.
