i wanted to put what i think as note-worthy here :

- Andi's writing of her first kiss with Nick on the hike date (which we DID NOT get to see), reminds me so much of JPab's  writing of his 1st kiss with Nikki, which also wasnt shown. Why bother to write it down and narate it with a strong connotations of being romantic and passionate if Nick is not her F1?. Color me confused !

- Andi referencing the flowers from Nick as their dating life back in Chicago. i found this interesting to say the least....will she move to Chicago? J/K..again, why bother mentioning the Chi-town?

- and yes, ITA,her words : how she loved him treated her like a woman, it is very spesific to Nick (remains to be seen for the other guys).

lets be honest murasaki has a little crush on our man Nick haha... I like your sleuthing and ill be interested to see how the next few weeks play out. To me its only Nick and Josh in the running. The rest i just don't see...

haha.tbh,.Nick does nothing for me in look department  peace . but like Andi said, there just something about him personality-wise, which i found endearing. i like him with Andi, as you can tell he could 'soften' her (expressions, tone, etc). I saw she is different with Josh too. As i suspect, this season's storyline will be Josh vs Nick, as in the whiteboard of the basketball date.  giggling

ep.5 will be a milestone of JoDi connection, so we shall see! ...

They didn't show the RC, so she couldn't be talking about watching it.

Well, just another editor who's getting overpaid. no no

How about this? I don't understand why she mentions Eric, after a whole paragraph of Nick.

Just like in Santa Barbara, I felt like Nick and I continued to have this intense mental and physical connection. The kisses were amazing and he definitely knows how to make me feel like a woman, and I loved how passionate he was. I was really proud that Eric and I could be honest about our relationship and start to be more open with each other.

I swear, they cut and paste in general phrases!  I don't get why people bother reading them.

If spoilers are correct, her last 2 blogs re: Nick statements could simply be a way to instill in readers that her interactions with Nick where genuine but in the end blah blah blah

That would explain her writing about her kiss with Nick last epi as being her romantic first kiss of the season (she'd kissed Chris, Marcus? and Josh before Nick) and in two blogs mentioning how he knows how to treat her like a woman ( something she hasn't said about anyone else).  Or, she is promoting him as the next Bach because really, saying a guy you didn't pick was your first romantic kiss and using the word "passionate" and stressing how he makes you feel womanly (Rrrrrr) isn't exactly pragmatic when you kissed your spoiled F1 several times already.
Regarding the bolded, she did say about Chris treating her like a lady which is something she needs.

The date with Marcus was a huge challenge for both of us. I am terrified of heights and so is Marcus. I felt like it was the perfect way for both of us to overcome our fears and form a bond. That morning I was so scared getting ready that I had to put my hair into a Katniss Everdeen braid for extra confidence.

I guess they are both still afraid of heights.

The fact that Marcus talked her off the ledge speaks volumes, let alone talking her down the building.  Andi wasn't acting so he got a chance to see the real Andi, imo.

There is no need for Andi to describe a kiss with Nick that was not shown on the show, i think it's very telling.

Des did the same with Brooks, she wrote about a "hot session" with Brooks that wasn't shown so... I think it's to trick people or something.

yes but Des also described her hot kisses w JPab that could met the igloo as well (wasnt shown either) laugh out loud

just as Des's word for Chris, Andi used strong connotation words only for Nick (eg.to describe her first kiss as passionate and romantic)

I read through all Andi's blogs. So far she has mentioned Josh in all but one and Nick in all but one. Just a little fact on this Monday morning!  Hugesmile

CH's blog on Episode 5:

This week’s blog from comes to you from Paradise!
I’d like to start off this week with an apology to our incredibly loyal Bachelor Nation. It was completely out of our control but we were off last week due to an ABC News interview with Hillary Clinton. When our show is on the air I know we are a weekly escape for you on Monday nights and I know you all look forward watching as much as I love hosting each week. Last week we left you hanging and we weren’t there for you. While I can’t promise that it won’t ever happen again, please know that I am incredibly sorry it happened and I was very happy to be back in our normal time slot with another great episode last night.

The Bachelorette: See Full Coverage

This week we left the US and took the season international, making our first stop in Marseille, France. Marseille is a quaint seaside town and it was the perfect backdrop for Andi to continue her search to find love. The episode started with me sitting down with her at a little street corner cafe. She was in really good spirits to start the week as she admitted to me she’s falling in love. The only issue is that it was happening with more than one person. I know it’s an odd thing to say, but it’s what happens when you come in and really open yourself up to the possibilities, like Andi has.

Josh finally got his first one-on-one date with Andi. He had to wait a while but the wait was worth it. Getting to walk along the harbor then take out a sailboat to one of the many islands just off the coast was an incredibly romantic experience. Andi is really attracted to Josh but she just hasn’t been able to get past the fact that he’s the same type of guy she always gets burned by. The fact that they are both so open about this really helped put some of her worries at ease, but later on she told me it’s still a lingering issue. There’s no doubt the physical chemistry is there between them, but the question for Andi is, is there depth? She looked back to her shallow relationship with Juan Pablo and was worried about falling for that again. The night portion of their date involved dinner and a concert in a castle that has been turned into a museum. After dinner the two of them walked out to find Ben Fields out front playing his new song. I was hiding there to hear the concert, and it was so cool. The acoustics out front of the castle were so good. All the people in buildings in the area were coming to their windows and balconies for the free show.

The group date was… French. It’s interesting to set up a date where the point is that nobody talks. Watching the guys mime in the harbor for the locals was pure comedy. Chris had the best line when he looked right in the camera and in total deadpan stated, “There are no mimes in Iowa.” The real interesting part of this date was at the after party. First came the issue with Nick. The guys have had a problem with Nick for a little while now. For some reason he just rubs some of them the wrong way. I’ve seen this before on the show. Either Nick is just too arrogant and shoves his successes in everyone’s faces, or there’s just a little bit of jealousy towards someone that’s clearly getting attention from Andi. Either way, he’s not the most popular with the guys and this isn’t over yet. Andi could sense the drama at this party and it definitely ruined the good mood she was in. She said it on the show and told me later as well when really nice guys like Chris and Cody speak up she feels like she should listen, but for now she’s going with her gut and sticking with Nick. JJ got the rose on this date and this didn’t seem to sit to well with Nick.

Coach Brian got the other one-on-one date this week and it went pretty well, then horribly wrong, and then really well again. The movie date started things off on a very romantic note. It should’ve only gotten hotter as the two of them went shopping and then to an apartment to cook together. Andi was really shocked at how unromantic Brian made this part of the date. Much like on the basketball court, Brian just didn’t know when to step forward and be romantic with Andi. She really wants a man that can read the signals and take matters into his own hands. Brian just seemed uncomfortable around her — almost awkward. But once again Brian was clutch in the fourth quarter (he loves sports analogies) as he saved the date later that night. The two of them had enough of a connection for Andi to give him the rose and convince her there’s more to find out about this coach. One thing that should really please all of our fans is the fact that we actually showed them eating on the date!

The rose ceremony was held at this beautiful old chateau on a vineyard about an hour outside of Marseille. I talked to Andi that night and she was in no mood to go through the motions and hold a cocktail party. Andi knew what she wanted to do and she didn’t see any need in making the three guys she knew she was sending home jump through hoops for no reason. If she felt like there was any way a last minute talk would change her mind she would’ve done it, but her mind was made up. I respect that about her and appreciate her being so candid with me and with the guys.

While Andi was good with her decision, the guys weren’t. When I walked into the room that night instead of Andi you could really feel the tension rise. Andi decided three men were going home this week. It was interesting to hear Andrew say he really didn’t have a good experience and felt bullied. That’s unfortunate, but sometimes it’s just not a good fit and I think that was the case here. It was also tough to see Marquel go home this week. The Cookie Monster was a favorite in the house and with our crew. The guy always had a smile on his face and he was a pleasure to be around.

Andi is getting to the point where she’s ready to say goodbye to those she knows there’s no future with. She’s ready to work on those relationships that she thinks could lead to true love. Speaking of next week, we head to the capital of love (if there ever was one): Venice, Italy. As you saw in the previews, the men start taking it up a notch and profess their love for Andi. These guys know they have a great woman here and they’re pulling out all the stops. See you in Venice next Monday!

Andi's Ep 5 Blog:

Finally we take the romance international! What better place to start our worldwide travel than Marseille, France – a city in the south, right on the Mediterranean. Wow, was it beautiful! I couldn’t wait to get this week of dating started.

The fewer men there are, the more serious and intimate each date seems to get.

My first one-on-one date in Marseille was with Josh. It was a date that I was looking forward to because our physical chemistry had always been strong, but I needed to see if there was more to it. I’m not gonna lie, I was extremely nervous going into this date because I always had my guard up with Josh. I didn’t quite know why I got so nervous around him, but I was hoping to conquer those nerves on this date.

After we left the hotel, Josh and I shopped for picnic supplies where I attempted to use my terrible French. We bought sandwiches and a liquor that Marseille is known for, pastis. It tasted like licorice and I bought an extra one to bring home to my mom. We sailed along the Mediterranean coast to the southernmost tip of Marseille, called the Calanques. The Calanques are these beautiful rock formations, and it was the most beautiful place to have a picnic and, most important of all, to talk. On our picnic, I learned about Josh's past, especially about his baseball career.

My Incredible Date with Josh
I decided to get all dressed up and have dinner with Josh at a magnificent palace. It was incredible to say the least. I enjoyed the fact that both Josh and I were willing to open up about our past relationships, especially when it came to our insecurities regarding faithfulness. I think it was something that Josh and I bonded over.

I remember taking a deep breath and telling Josh that for the first time, I felt like I was letting my guard down with him and was allowing myself to enjoy our great connection. I gave the rose to Josh because not only was the physical connection there, but we were getting to know each other on a whole new level. I had one last surprise for Josh – you guessed it – a private concert. We ended the night by dancing to Ben Fields, which was incredibly romantic. From start to finish, the date was perfect and one I would never forget.

The Guys Learn to Mime
The next day was the group date, and I figured when in France, why not learn how to mime? I took the guys to a studio where we all learned the art of miming. Our miming coach, Thierry, was so funny. He really whipped the guys into shape and in true mime form, never spoke to us. During our practice, the guys each reenacted their limo arrivals from night one and it was so cute. Dylan did a perfect reenactment of how nervous he was. We then performed in a popular square in Marseille and let’s just say the crowd wasn’t exactly enthusiastic about our performance. I know miming means to act without words, but the audience isn’t supposed to be silent as well!

Nevertheless, the guys were great sports as usual – except Nick. I know Nick and I had a great connection from our date in Santa Barbara, and I know it’s hard to adjust back to group dates, but I remember really not liking Nick’s standoffish behavior. Little did I know that that would follow through the evening as well.

The Group Date Gets Tense
The nighttime portion of the group date got off to a great start with JJ taking me for a romantic ride on the Ferris wheel. JJ always found ways to make me feel special and that night was definitely no exception. After JJ’s sweet gesture, things definitely took a turn for the worse.

As soon as I walked back into the cocktail party I could feel that something was off with the guys. I started talking to then individually and I got the sense that there was some tension between the guys and Nick – specifically that Nick had suggested to some effect that he was the "frontrunner." Obviously I don’t like this term, because it made me feel like this was a competition and that I’m a prize, and like Olivia Pope has said, "I am not a prize at the state fair. You cannot win me!" Needless to say, I was not happy at the turn of events that night. Giving the rose to JJ was the obvious choice that night.

My next one on one date was with Brian. I was excited for this date – Brian and I just had our first kiss and he was definitely standing out. We started off going to a local cinema, and it was the absolute cutest theater ever. We had all this traditional French candy and it was so delicious.

Once we had our snacks, we watched a sneak preview of the movie The 100 Foot Journey, which was about cooking and making food become a memory. It inspired us to cook our own recipe of a well-known French dish … frog legs. Shopping in the market was so much fun and really made us feel like locals. These are the types of dates that I love because you really get a feel for the culture and the people.

Now it was time to bring the heat and cook in my kitchen. Let’s just say it was far from hot in that kitchen. The frog legs did not turn out well at all. In fact, Brian and I ended up playing with the frog legs and flipping them in the air. It was hilarious! Even though Brian and I were lacking chemistry while we were cooking, I wanted to give Brian the rose because I knew that the Brian that kissed me in Connecticut was still in there. We had been building a strong and steady relationship and despite the date not going perfectly, Brian was still someone I wanted to get to know better.

It was time for the rose ceremony cocktail party. I had thought long and hard about whether or not to have one. The truth was, I never liked the rose ceremonies. The cocktail parties beforehand are also difficult as there is so much stress and nervousness that’s put on everyone. I thought if I already knew who I was sending home, there was no reason to put the guys through another cocktail party. So I decided to spare everyone and just kind of rip off the Band-Aid.

What you didn’t get to see was right before I handed out roses, Cody pulled me at the last second to tell me how badly he wanted a rose. I really loved that he had the confidence to do that, and he really let me know that he was here for me. What Cody didn’t know was that I was always going to give him a rose that night. It was sad to see Andrew, Patrick and Marquel leave, but I knew my connections with the other men were much stronger.

Next week, in true Bachelorette fashion, the travels continue and the dates get more and more romantic. Things get very interesting on the group date when I put the guys through a lie-detector test. Let’s just say that it definitely brought out some secrets. Thanks for reading my blog and I hope you enjoy these international dates as much as I have.

xoxo,
Andi
