I don't think it's a far reach that RS was given a heads up as to when certain people might be flying and what airports they might be flying to/from and I think that if he had people at those locales to contact them, offer the $ for their service would be ez. 
I do not think RS had "spies" working all the airports stateside. No.

Just thinking---if the video was real and was made by a Bachelor fan who "just happened" to recognize Nick, do the recording and send it to RS, I'd say there was definitely $$$ involved in paying the informant and paying for his/her secrecy. If I'd made this video, I'd be screaming on this board about how I'd made the best discovery ever. I think any fan serious enough to recognize, record, and send to RS, surely is on some major board and would want to take the credit--unless they were paid by RS to keep quiet. Thoughts?

If what you say is what happened then the video maker would first want to check the legalities of recording a private conversation then using it for monetary gain.

If Jimmy Kimmel was responsible, see upthread, then he would have enjoyed being paid for it.

I just feel that it seems to dominate and that discussion about Nick & Andi per episode recedes in the background.

Absolutely. I agree with this. It's quite possible this is what happened. I can also see the possibility of a random person recording it too. Either way, whoever it was, they were paid for it. No doubt in my mind about that and there's also really no doubt about the video either. I love reading how people think it's a possible foiler because I love reading all of their thoughts and possible scenarios. In my eyes, however, this would be one hell of a foiler that would include multiple people - including the lead and the spoiled F2 and it would have to go beyond the video as we know we've been given some other clues too.  

I agree...why wouldn't someone ask for $$ for the video? I'm sure RS would pay for it...that would be worth a lot to him. I also agree there's very little chance it's a foiler.

Steve opportunistically pays stringers to stalk airports and the fantasy/FRC destinations, or they trade information. It seems as likely as anything to me looking at the photo of Josh in line leaving DR and the Nick flight tape that Steve arranged to cover those locations, and lucked out on Nick blabbing on that flight. Farfetched, somewhat. But that info-trading has been going on with him for years.

my serious   side suggests me YES. This is the third time he is talking about Chicago Summers . First the bridge and second was the laying by the pool. So.. here he is implying that Chicagosummers also came with bad stuff.

Just in case anyone bother to peek into my cray mind ..yes,the Chicagosummers is his reference to his future with the future wifey Meandi. #takethegoodwiththebad. I like that he is an esoteric guy!

I said this on the other thread but how could they possibly know where Nick's sitting and just so happen to have someone sitting in exactly the right place? That's just not plausible to me.
