Last night, I was home alone, and I watched every Nick scene from the 4 episodes. I have a problem!!   :shocked!:    

In every 12 step program, this is step one, now that you acknowledge the problem you can get better.   

OMG....I hate to admit it but I also have a problem but I am doing the same thing with Marcus....that I did with Brooks. There has to be a 12 step program for TV boyfriends. :WAVEY:    :hidingchair  

First step indicates surrender--that you have acknowledged your life is out of control and unmanageable. Hopefully--it's not really that bad!

Not really that bad unless you talk to my husband. He doesn't do it outwardly because he knows better but inside there is an eye roll or two.  Truth be told he watches this stupid show too. I know for sure he isn't on these boards though which is quite frankly a relief...imagine if we were both here....yikes!!!  Life is good...this show is just a guilty pleasure...most of the time.

I think most of us here on this board surrender to this show a little, it is fun not hazardous, but sometimes I think about the time I spend discussing this silly show and all the other stuff I could do. Oh well, at least I enjoy my problem.

NICK'S ONE-ON-ONE

If you're not a fan of Nick you might as well stop reading now. My appreciation for Nick only grew this week. He manages to be the right mix of realistic and open-minded. Skeptical yet optimistic. Case in point:

“Let's be honest, what are the chances things are gonna work out here? That being said, you never know.”

“I'm not desperate for love... I want to find it.”

“It's my opportunity to spend some quality time with Andi and see if it's worth sticking around.”

These might not seem like big, meaningful proclamations but think about it: How often, if ever, have you heard someone on this show say “see if it's worth sticking around”?



I predict Nick will go very, very far. First, I think Andi digs him. I still have doubts in them as a real couple but you can tell she finds him endearing and smart and sharp. (which he is) Second, I can't imagine why they would air his misgivings and hesitation unless he ends up falling pretty hard for her. (which I believe is going to happen)
