I'm finding that within a browser session, it will start tracking new posts that appear while the browser is open. If I shut the browser, it goes back to having no new posts again (even if I can see that threads I'm following have new posts).

Well I was finally able to log in on my home computer using Microsoft Edge and the view new posts came up. Lets hope it continues to work because that is so much more convenient than having to go through the home page. I had forgotten what a pain that used to be.

I got no new posts.  Can't remember what it said though.

This morning, the View New Posts under the banner worked.  16 different threads showed up that had new posts since my visit last night.  I just came to the site and clicked it to see what happened.  Back to the way it always worked... I hope for a long time!

It should be back to normal. View new posts at the right hand top and bottom (way bottom) of each page like it was before.

If you are still having problems, you have to clear cookies etc, log out (not just close browser, Welcome Username, top toolbar, there is a drop down, log out) and back in. If you don't, when you log in your device is using the same settings which included the view new posts under the page number that was causing the problems.

If you close your browser and haven't read all the new posts, unfortunately you'll loose them. That's the way this forum has always been. There's no way to change that.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It's too bad the change didn't work. It was on my to do list to change that for a long time, and now it's not working.

Thanks for all the help. Please continue posting if you notice anything or are still having problems, but I'm pretty sure the new script was the problem.

Well I can't log in again this morning on my laptop. My phone seems ok but it is a pain.

I am out for the evening. I'll leave myself logged in at the home page and see what happens when I get back.

I don't know what is going on. I am having all kinds of trouble with this site on my laptop. I've tried both Microsoft Edge and Chrome. I couldn't log in all day and when it finally lets me, this box for replies does not have any of the editing features. I can't post a photo because the box is missing where I insert the info. I am also missing all the red dots on the main page where I should be able to click so I can see any of the posts since the last time I was here. All the posts pop up, but I have to search to find where I was last instead of just being taken to where I left off.

Also the only time I seem to be able to log in, it shows a link to Forumotion at the bottom of the page where it asks if I will accept their use of cookies.

It is all such a mess. I have tried deleting cookies and such, but it continues. Is anyone else having issues?

It's been working great for me the past couple of days!

I just realized that I am also missing the like button, edit, quote, x etc that is should be at the top of any post...hence why I couldn't edit my previous post and had to post twice!

The only thing I see is the mention button and when I try to press that...like I just did to you [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]...it doesn't work!!!
