In reality the cameras and booms are constantly in your face. There are constant retakes. There are cue card sometimes. Little segments take hours to film. So they are actors and actresses.
And this is what Eric is picking up on ---the private moments he had with her vs seeing her moments the cameras are rolling. There is most likely a big discrepancy.

Maybe she was overtired--and that brings out the drama queen in her.
She doesn't look good right now.

She has a bad habit of cutting people off and not letting them finish what they have to say when she's in ADA mode.
