That could very well be the case and makes a lot of sense.  If Josh got an early date they may have had to have and X rating to this series.

I just read where this epi will only be 1-hour....   It better be one hour of Josh and Andi!  Or at least half of an hour!

I don't see Marcus being arrogant at all. First of all, you can never really know when these PI actually happen because TPTB slice and dice conversations so much. Maybe it happened later and they put it in now.....who knows. Besides I look at what Marcus said as similar to what Chris said about not caring so much about the other relationships because he trusted what he and Des had and how strong their relationship was. I think Marcus is adorable and should be the next Bachelor....JMO.   

I don't see the two comments as the same.  Marcus indicated that he was upset about not getting the rose and compared his relationship with Andi to Josh's with her by stating that he knew his relationship was much stronger (than hers with Josh).  

I guess we have to agree to disagree. I'd have to go back and watch it again but did Marcus specifically say his relationship with Andi was stronger than Josh's with Andi? And we don't really know when Marcus made that statement...maybe it was right before HT's.

 
What I am noticing about Marcus is that he seems to be extremely uncomfortable in that setting - having to compete with all those other guys over one woman - and he does not seem to REALLY be enjoying himself AT ALL so far, except perhaps during his small amount of time he gets to spend with Andi.  So far, it seems like he is forcing himself to go along and do the things on the group dates that are completely out of his comfort zone.
 
As for him already stating that he is jealous and is feeling like his relationship with Andi is better than all of the other guys, that sounds like Marcus is already fully immersed into the Bach Bubble and is being encouraged by his handler to step up his game.  His handler is probably telling Marcus that he sees how much Andi already likes him as well.  In my opinion, if Marcus did not do so, he probably would not have made it to the F4, no matter how "hot" Andi thought he was.  Marcus is probably not cut out for the Bachelorette, given that he tends to stand back and wait to be approached.
 
I am not sure that he meant for that to come across as arrogant.  He just seems misguided.  Plus, Andi is doing a good job of reeling him in and making him believe that she in really into him. I bet that Marcus is more accustomed to having women approach him, rather than the other way around.  So for that reason, I don't see him as a good lead for the next Bachelor.

I'll be curious to see what people think after Andi's 1:1 date with Marcus.  No matter how far Marcus goes with this I think Andi is pretty into him. I don't care whether or not his personality is suited to being the bachelor or not. Anything that would extend Marcus' screen time is perfectly fine by me.  

One thing Andi said (in voiceover) this episode stood out to me.  She said "I need someone that just jumps into something and has fun with it, and has a good outgoing bold personality".  While this was played (in voiceover) at the beginning of the group date, I tend to think she feels that way overall for this whole process.  She is a strong personality herself and I bet she wants someone who is bold and confident too (but not so bold that she can't be the boss when she wants to).  Anyway, of the F4, I think that describes Josh more than any of the others.  I'll be really surprised if he's not the F1.

Having said that, I loved Nick's date and I can totally see how he ended up making it very far.  He is a really interesting guy.  I'd prefer to see Nick as the Bachelor, over Chris or Marcus.

He is young. He's 25.

Agree on the bolded. First Andi is a female alpha, very go-getter personality. In group situations, she wants to dominate hence the "queen bee" references. There are ways to go about this but Andi's leadership personality could be very authoritative. She acts older than 27, looks like (not very effeminate so far, she is very testosterone-y, similar to DeAnna, but not too in your face). Second, I don't believe Andi will like someone she can pushover - so Josh (being alpha male himself and putty around Andi) is working out for them. Nick was a challenge for Andi in the beginning but their deep conversations is also very attractive to Andi. She is an intellectual too, so she is looking for that cerebral connection as well. Marcus, he is still my favorite is still just "like at first glance" at this point. Chris there is chemistry but the others are more enhanced.

Amongst all the bachelors, I think Nick will be the most real.

I think the difference is that Josh says that TO Andi, doesn't he (as opposed to saying it privately to the camera)?  At least that is how I'm remembering it from the promo.  And if that's the case, I think that is a lot different because he is putting it out there to her rather than just making assumptions about the relationship.

Josh is definitely outgoing and bold. Marcus seems the other end of the spectrum however he was one of the guys shown singing to her so he did jump in. Chris and Nick really haven't had opportunity to show how easily they "jump in" as neither of them have been on the GDs thus far. I don't thing either of them are "bold" in the traditional sense; more easy-going and self-assured. It could be argued that it was bold of Nick to set up a date card at the RS cocktail party and then send flowers this epi.

As to "good", they probably all are but the show will likey edit one to be "not that good".
