That was a sweet scene. IMO, this scene should have kept it instead of the part where Claire saying "I would not want you to be the father of my children" I think that part made Claire looks like she wasn't honest on the good words she said early on the show about JP being a good Dad.

The reference "this one is for your wife" refers to a tweet Jeff Gordon's wife posted that a race win by her hubby was what she wanted for Mother's Day.

I think it happened during the evening of their last date after he opened the gift she gave him. The wrappings from the gift are laying in the bed when he puts the song on.
