TBH i dont know if it is or not true, but I would have been surprised if it hadnt bee said of any F1 and lead from the same place! Same with the storyline of going around the world to find love on your doorstep...

But you know me, I am a glass half-full kinda girl so I will put on my :rosiecolored

and assume that they never met.

Apparently, there is a rumor going around, that Andi and Josh have met before(multiple times - right before the show began shooting in March)... and that TPTB not only knew about this, but they actually set them up in a nice hotel room somewhere in South Cali. He was a plant.

Also, Andi was apparently a great actress; she played her role perfectly - lot of crying, lot of angst, lot of love, etc.... Plenty of guys thought that she was phony and at least one of them called her out on it in his exit interview...

And now not a rumor, but something that I've heard from multiple sources...

Apparently, Nick had been BY FAR the most unassuming, tentative guy of the final 8 or so- He was super careful and was a bit skeptical about this whole process.(his family too). Andi has gone out of her way to reassure him(and his family) - and it seems that she took him to the F2(according to RS) just to dump him... This is quite cruel, IMO. Even crueler if the rumor above is not just a rumor. :Frown:

I pray and hope that this is just a nasty rumor, because I'd actually like to root for Josh and Andi to make it.
However, RS swearing that they had NEVER met before the show and that they don't share ANY friends, makes it a bit suspect to me.... He was obviously told that by someone close to Josh or Andi(there is no other way of knowing that), who for some reason felt the need to point that out....

I have no problem believing that her acting was Oscar performance. This was obvious to me during JPG's exit, and that's why she is so very loved by TPTB. The beloved lead, is always hated at some point during airing, and this shouldn't be any surprise.

RS swearing doesn't mean a hill of beans to me. Smiley

Josh being the F1, has not IMO being proven yet.

If they met before - so what? Perpetuated by TPTB as a plant - well that is cruel bully trick and Nick blindsided - that is just "high school mean girl". Yeah, Josh as plant is most likely rumor - if they've met before that's ok, taking Nick intentionally through F2 and picking Josh knowing it was him from first night I just can't believe - tastes very sour to me. Like most of us I will take this speculation with a grain of salt.

(I imagine, this said source wouldn't necessary be objective right now... :/(
Could be total bullocks and just sour grapes and Andi could be the most awesome, sincere lead, who fortunately happened to fall in love with the guy next door. Maybe she took Nick to the F2 because she really fell bad for him and she was still undecided going into the MTPs...

All you have done is spilled what you know and made it clear that there may or may not be truth in what you heard.

I for one can completely see Andi acting her way all the way to the FRC and beyond. As GA said, her performance after the FDs last season was phoney but it landed her the job. I could believe anything of her.

I know it is a rumor and cannot be confirmed, but that was my gut feeling once I saw the first preview and no Josh. It was always in my mind the thought that they were probably dating each other before the show started filming and this was all a set up because she had already signed the contract. That's really the main reason I dislike this outcome. Im sure many of the guys figured it out.

Chloe , did you hear anything about the F2 exit? Since we are due, im guessing there was a rejected proposal. True?...if Yes, was it in full edition,with bend on 1 knee, ring offered and all?( i hate it btw)

Had a feeling they might have known each other before filming but having meet ups before!? Wow. I like Josh from what I've seen so far, and even if I didn't care for Andi last season, was hoping my opinions would change this season, by seeing her interaction with everyone and especially w/ Josh, (happened w/ Des, like her even more with Chris) not gonna hate on her, waiting until season starts Monday see how it all plays out but hopefully she didn't let Nick to propose and let him go before the FRC, though doubt it! hmmm
