I was just thinking the same thing. I watched CT, and he didn't say one bad word or even a sarcastic word about Andi. I don't think I've seen any interview where he's trying to get a jab in or say anything negative about her. The whole issue to me isn't whether Josh was rude, it's the position Josh and Andi have put Nikki in with their comment about JPG not being invited to the wedding. Even if you don't like him (JPG), that really puts your supposed best friend in an awful position. Assuming JPG and Nikki are still together at the time they get married, a more tactful way of handling it would have been to let Nikki know privately (not announced in an interview) that she is welcome to attend, but that they really don't want JPG there. It lets Nikki politely decline in private.  

Exactly. For a guy who was supposedly so media savvy due to all the family sports experience, Josh is kind of proving the contrary. You never really know about people and their relationships...no matter how good friends you are. One minute they are crying, miserable and about to break up and the next, all is sweetness and light again. Rinse and repeat. Been there, done that. Best watch your tongue or things come back to haunt you. As for JPab, I just think his personality and attitude in life is ... eez okay. Those type of people rarely get all worked up about something unless they are pushed or cornered like within the confines of the show with Clare. I wouldn't want to be his significant other, but I think he would make an easier friend that Andi.

I was pretty surprised by Josh's comments and definitely thought he should have been more tactful, but something to think about:

Josh and Andi are talking the way people talk about a guy they think has really hurt and is really hurting someone they care about.

We will never know the truth, but there may be more there that can't be seen.

I guess for me, it is Nikki and JPG's business. I haven't heard JPG express one opinion about Josh at all and as far as I know, except for agreeing with Cecily that Andi should have put on her big girl panties and said something in the FS if she wasn't happy, he hasn't said anything bad about Andi. So really, why do they need to say anything about him at all.

Even if Nikki and JPG are over, a simple no comment would do. Nikki hates the negative press, all Josh did with those words was increase negative press and speculation.

So it could be said that Josh is actually hurting the person he was maybe probably trying to defend.


Also does anyone else find it a bit strange that two women in their mid 20s who have each gone through university and such are better friends with a person they met on a stupid show than anyone else they have met in the rest of their lives? I would get if they said one of my best friends. But both Andi and Nikki say my best friend, like the one. It is so odd to me. It makes me wonder what kind of women they are that they seem to not have this close of friendships before this.

Yes! Thanks for bringing this up. I can't imagine how Nikki's long-term friends must feel, hearing this. Unless her friendships are all on a very casual level.

Especially when I think they haven't seen each other for a year. Someone may correct me, but I don't think so.

^ I've never seen or heard Nikki or Andi call each other their best friend. In the magazines and other articles it's usually the author that states that. For example, Andi was asked if Nikki would be a bridesmaid and it seemed like she hesitated and said "ya maybe, probably." I'm not sure that would be said about your best friend. It's more so the press that states them as that. Andi is a bridesmaid this weekend at one of her close friends wedding that she met through law school.

I was curious, so here's what I found. Then I stopped because I didn't want to know anymore.

I also want to add this since much was said about Juan Pablo never saying anything negative about Andi or Josh. I just came across an Reality TV World article which was written right after Nikki and Juan Pablo's ATFR. Nikki was asked about Andi, to which she essentially said that people are allowed to have their opinions and no matter what Andi and Nikki will always be friends. She then added that Andi would be at her wedding someday. Juan Pablo then snarkly stated "well, you'll be marrying a different guy then."

Looks like according to Juan Pablo, Andi won't be attending his wedding either.

Nikki and Juan are responsible for themselves. Obviously nikki and jP can't figure it out and have MAJOR problems that have nothing to do with anyone else. I feel sorry for them--more Nikki than JP. I hope they figure it out soon and I suspect already have. IMO

Sounds to me like they are all people who say and do things that are regretful. I'll bet a lot of people make the same mistakes, just not where it gets recorded for the world to read or hear. As "public" figures, they should be even more careful to think about what they say.

I think we have finally reached the painful conclusion of Nikki and JPG. Thank goodness for her sake, good for her she finally woke up. Now Andi and Josh have nothing to worry about for wedding invites
