Yeah I know... he is getting a quirky edit and, yeah, I thought too that we would get kissing... or something. Instead she just prodded him to talk about The Drama. For me, all of the dialogue at the rose ceremony was convincing enough for me. Have to re-watch and jot down the exact words spoken.

Did get the voice-bytes after the rose ceremony, clearly showcasing Chris a lot:

I feel very confident (Chris & Cody)
... with all y'all standing in front of me (Josh)
Marseille has been great, but...
We are actually (Dylan)
... going of one of my (Brian)
... favorite cities in the entire world (Chris & Cody)
... to a place that has (Marcus & Nick)
... great food, great culture (Brian & Dylan)
... great love stories (Chris & Cody, the latter gets to do the R&J routine)
Which means we are going to Venice... yeah.

In the promo, we get the line "I'm scared I won't be here to the end" spoken over Josh, Brian, Marcus and Nick in rapid succession as if all four are doomed. Then we see her sobbing to Cody before dumping him. I think the whole "point" of this season was revealed in her "fight" with Eric: "You have no clue how f***ing difficult it is to look in someone’s face and send them home!"

Chris is like the tortoise in Aesop... or Bing Crosby's horse at Santa Anita. Remember that popular 1940s joke in old radio programs and Bugs Bunny cartoons? "He hasn't come in yet?" I still think she was "gaga" for him out of the limo and at Santa Anita, despite 80% of this forum disagreeing with me, but wasn't coming out of his shell fast enough for her during the European Tour. I still think Eric's death is what zooms Chris to the head of the pack and the editors are downsizing him as much as possible until then.

Also there were too many Chris PI sessions on this show with that same background, but with him sporting more than seven different outfits matching the episodes they are included in. It is too-too obvious they, and some additional Marcus and Nick ones, were all post-show. I mean... there is no getting around it. Don't try to convince me they were all shot in a day during hometown week before the next ceremony. Marcus has two in separate outfits and his hometown was last, wasn't it? My guess is that two guys know the "ending" and are fine with it. Production must have really struggled with Chris talking to the cameras and had to do a LOT of retakes.

There is no reason to keep Chris so hidden. They don't even show a deleted scene of them kissing. He's like her mole on this show. Just there to get information. Pathetic.

I don't think he is hidden. I think he isn't giving them anything to put out there.

The Chris edit is so weird! I see everything you see JBF but I just don't see anything on screen between him and Andi, she spent her entire 1-on-1 time with him to talk about the drama surrounding Nick.

Despite all the "editing" clues, I am really shocked he made it to the final 3, without a second date and everything.

I am wondering if they are editing him this way because he is the one she should have picked or something. I don't know.

All I know is that I think he is a stand up guy, and I am extremely impressed with Chris.

In the preview I thought he said something about feeling bad she had to find out this way - I assume she finds out after the lie detector test and Chris wanted to tell her himself.

Oh, that really makes sense to go with the clip in the preview.  I can't imagine Chris holding back on something negative.  We know for sure Nick isn't because he told her that in France.  Marcus wouldn't be because he already handed her a letter.  That left Josh or Chris but you convinced me it's Chris  

Love Chris and do think that finally seeing him only to have their conversation be about other people instead of their own relationship really makes me think he is more a friend. A wonderful friend!

Agree with this and post suggesting that our Chris is NO actor so not giving TPTB any kind of fabricated drama but also not giving much passion with Andi so therefore limited screen time. He has become the go-to-guy/voice of reason so very likeable along with being kind, sincere, smart/educated, good looking, rich with an actual profession and strongly appealing to middle America.

In many ways Chris is ideal Bachelor except ... recruiting the "right reason" ladies could be a challenge as I am just not sure how many women would want to live in Arlington, Iowa with population of 427 (!!) unless he actually lives in a suburb such as (Cedar Rapids, population 126,000), which is over an hour away. But even that's pretty small ...

I can see TPTB strongly pushing Chris to be in the F4 and Andi happily thinking he's a no-brainer/no-stress companion so she could sort out her crazy feelings for Josh and Nick, two very different guys.

My guess is if Josh is F1 as all signs, spoilers, etc. seem to suggest, Chris is next Bachelor.

If Marcus or Nick pull an upset, Josh is next Bachelor.

But ... sorry to say ... I just don't see Chris as F1. TPTB are certainly not hiding her chemistry with Josh, NIck, Marcus or Brian so why would they hide with Chris. Unless they really are going for a shocking finale this season!!

Well talk about fabricated drama!! But I thought that Chris was alluding to someone else not wanting to tell her something? Was it that someone else did not want to tell Andi that Chris Soules was her secret admirer?

And how goofy! Why are they creating drama about a secret admirer letter anyway? Unless the letter was some random sound guy or camera guy or good old CHris Harrison, isn't every contestant already a very out in the open admirer of Andi? No secrets you like her if you are accepting rose at every ceremony!

If Chris Soules thought this up, very sweet but next time just sign your name!! If Chris' handler put him up to this to help stir up some sort of story line that justifies his hanging out longer ... maybe need to go back to drawing board with ideas.

Hmmm... Reality Steve said Cody gets accused of having a girlfriend back home. Perhaps that's what Chris doesn't want to tell Andi. Explains why she's so teary-eyed telling someone she can't keep them for another week. And why Reality Steve has said Cody does not get a rose after his 1:1.

I don't remember who posed the question, but Chris definitely lives in Arlington. Even more so, he lives on an acreage in the country outside of Arlington. You might be surprised at the number of farmers around here who end up with "big city" girls.
