Yeah, agreed. I find it more interesting that Marquel and Sarah are on the float while some of the other recent couples like Marcus and Lacy or Sean and Catherine are not.  SeanCat probably wanted too much money to appear.  Marquel had his kickstarter fail so I can't see that his popularity has remained. He did complain a bit about not being considered for The Bachelor, so this could be appeasement on the part of TPTB. Sarah is a no brainer as she remains hugely popular on SM.  So who do you think will be in the hot tub?  I think it should be Chris H and Chris S!!!

Maybe it is a more western US based bachelor float? I am surprised Andi and Josh aren't on it as the most recent couple I think Marquel is a great idea, he is their only minority.

I hope that I didn't give the impression that I thought Marquel wasn't worthy.  I love him and I was extremely surprised when he was unable to raise just $5,000 on kickstarter for his Social Cookie venture.  It is just that I think he didn't come off as quite the romantic gentleman on BIP as he did on The Bachelorette and it is obvious that his popularity on SM has declined.  I wish him the best and I hope that there is still some way for him to launch his cookie business.  I wish he would have done so fresh out of the gate while his popularity was at its peak, kind of like what Jade is doing with her cosmetics venture.  I can appreciate these contestants who actually try to build something as opposed to just shilling the products and ideas of others, like so many of them do.

Actually, I think the bloom was of the JPG rose in Mid- November last year- and it only got worse. But they had 10/11 weeks of programming to promote one way or another. It started positively, but once he stuck his foot in his mouth they didn't have to try for the positive spin any more. After all, any publicity is good publicity as far as the show is concerned.

*chuckle chuckle* Remember how he shook the champagne bottle over the voice-over "He's husband material" in the seasonal promos?

It's OK. Maybe the bloom was snipped, but it took longer for the rose-bush to wilt... and Kalon McMahon to wind up with the leftover "I heart Juan Pablo" T-shirts. Needless-to-say, that final rose ceremony didn't exactly make the franchise's "most romantic top ten".

It's OK. All joking aside, his stock did improve on Couples Therapy. It appeared that everybody on that show liked him (except Nikki, of course).

Not sure of the outcome of Chris' season, but twice (I think) he has said he's "very happy"... whatever that means. Desiree was permitted to say the same... and was quite giggly with Jimmy Kimmel. Then she put on her "solemn" face when traveling in cahoots with Mister Harrison in their go-arounds.

Speaking of Desie... I don't know why I have this ominous feeling that HE will ALSO give us a boo-hoo over "the one who got away before he found happiness with somebody else" storyline created for Chris to follow, with the appropriate saline drops squirted on his face during Fantasy Date week. If it worked successfully with past Bachelorette seasons, it can be recycled for a Bachelor as well.

I've hunted for any kind of sightings in and around Arlington--I think Chris and his chosen are holed up in a barn somewhere.
I would really be curious if the two of them got together with Chris's family for the holiday.

Thanks for snooping around mtnlvr. I have not had the time, but I've been curious. Surely we would have had fan tweets if he was out and about in airports or in another city or basically just travelling anywhere.

Fleiss & ABC don't want a TV version of match.com. They want Dynasty revived for the Reality TV genre. How do you promote something that isn't?
