Re: Bachelor 19 - Chris Soules - General Discussion - *Spoilers*
You think anybody here can tweet @Fleissmeister with any of our brainstorming here? They are probably still indecisive about locales at this stage.
OK. Here is my "shopping list" to send to @Fleissmeister. We will start drumming our support to make Chris not so "boring" for those who consider him to be.
1.) Have Cody make an appearance at Meet & Greet... simply for my own personal amusement. (A cameo by Nick would be even more fun. Cody and Nick arriving together to give him "instruction"... and not squabbling with each other... would make it an episode to remember. I am just a little worried that Chris may lose a few contestants who want to "go home" with Nick though.)
2.) First foreign locale... a farm in Ireland or Provence... or Chateau de Soules.
3.) Definitely UK... but not London this time. Got to keep them a little more rural this season.
4.) Must include one "spooky" place... Stonehenge, Loch Ness, some haunted rectory for a game of Ghost in the Graveyard. Crop circle visits will add to his "theme". http://www.hauntedrooms.co.uk/haunted-places-to-stay
5.) Have an elderly couple married for 55 years or more visit him on one of his dates and mess with his head.
6.) We are tired of tropical isles for fantasy dates. Yeah... bikinis are a must at some point... and I guess he has to go shirtless at least once. (No showers like Juan and Sean please. That was silly!) Yet let us go back to yee traditional days and pick a FRC spot without sand and driftwood. Maybe a place inaccessible to spoiler snoopers. We need SOME mystery of the outcome this season.
7.) Make sure Chris cries on screen. We miss Jason's season.

Fleiss could care less with what we think is my humble opinion. More importantly, they probably have the story board outlined for the dates they are scheming and the locales, so whatever we come up with are simply pipe dreams--again only my opinion.

I would love to see some dates that focused less on over the top crazy in LA and focus more on the simpler life.
Filming will be during Autumn which is a spectacular time in the midwest. Dates could be hayrides, apple picking, pumpkin themed---dare I say--harvesting and giving thanks, ice cream socials, bake offs for charity, homecoming, old theme movie theaters or drive ins. There are so many innovative things TPTB could do with this season and could make it successful if they took a turn from the stale format.
This is exactly what I'd like to see as well. That will be the lifestyle for his chosen one. This would eliminate the diva's that can't see themselves living in that environment.
I agree. The first two weeks in Iowa would be awesome and to me, maybe help weed out some of the crazies who just won't be able to handle being that rural.

The "mansion" might be a bit of a trick in Iowa- it was easy to find a big house in Charlotte. So... do they have the girls live in luxury buses like they did on Jake's season when they traveled up the CA coast?

They don't need a mansion. They need a place to live that can hold 18 women or so after the Meat and Geek.
I looked at real estate and it could be done. I pulled up multiple nice looking homes with 5 bedrooms plus and 3 plus baths all within 10 mile radius of Arlington.
It's all silly speculation on my part, because the season is planned and I doubt TPTB will move in that direction, but they could certainly do that week 2, 3, 4.

Like they did on Ben's season when they went to Sonoma.
Truth is though it's tempting to see such a move as a good way for the girls to understand where Chris lives and what life in Iowa might be like, they are basically in "house arrest" - no sightseeing, no wandering around, and they would pretty much see nothing of Iowa of any significant use. It would be more "eye candy" for viewers to make viewers think the girls all got a taste of Iowa.

I'd like to see visiting Iowa, but near the end - have the F2 visit Chris' actual house and farm. I used to like that when the F2 met the lead's family it was at the family's real home. I think I remember that at least during Aaron's and Andrew's season way back when. It makes it feel more real and gives more of a sense if the girls fit into their real family life, than meeting at some villa in a tropical resort. They met at the parents home on Bachelor Canada too. I like it much better. I wish they could fit that in somehow - have the F2 come to see Chris's real home and meet the family on their turf, know it won't happen, but that's what I'd most want to see.

Every tweet counts. I'll be satisfied if I get my #7. Juan Pabloo only boo-hoo-ed a little when Sharleen dumped him in Miami. (Scratching my head "why" over that one.) Sean did on his wedding, but not much on his Bach show. We fully expect a grown man to cry on national TV.

What overseas countries would be appropriate for this season? Ireland? Definitely the UK again, but not London as Emily's. Soules is a British-French name after all. Just as Clare Bear was embracing her "half Mexican" heritage on BIP... LOL!
Ireland,.. now if they come and not tell me...

^^ Yeah, Sophie. If they are in Ireland you should get a special invitation to watch some filming, I think.

This franchise NEEDS to go there... I mean... come here. Ha ha! Promote some tourism since the contestants on The Amazing Race never stay put long enough to advertize the hotels and resort accommodations. Don't you just love it when the editors show the contestants running into the suites and jumping up and down on the beds? Talk about The Soft Sell! The handlers probably tell them to do that. I especially loved the Connecticut bathtub scene with the guys showcasing how much room there was in the tub. I hope James got some commission in Desie's Atlantic City when he had his silly bubble bath.
All joking aside, I am operating in Christopher's best interest. His season has to be the very best, y'know. Yeah... I realize that Harrison was fibbing the Big One when he said "they" were undecided about the Bachelor choice until two days before the announcement. Pplllleeeeaaaasssseee! We all know The Farmer Needs A Wife Storyboard was already up on the tacky board with index cards and push-pins.
Next tweet needs to be my "spook" suggestion.
@Fleissmeister. Are we gonna see some merry ol' England again this season like Emily's? Lots of haunted places! #Ghost in the Graveyard
Oooooh the drama! Oooooh the music! Oooooh the aggressive go-getter contestants (who may not all "be here for the right reasons") eager to get Chris behind a bush or tree to "steal time" away from the other jealous ladies...
