I have followed Arie for a long time now and have never read a post by Arie  that was meant as a dig. He may tease, but he doesn't insult. He's at peace with the decision that's been made and he can go on with his life. And so it will. Peace ....

I agree, but this is the second time they led him on realizing they were going to chose someone else.

Unfortunately, Arie forgets, TPTB is not your friend and they will use who ever they want when ever they want.

Maybe Arie will move on and if he really wants to find the one might be looking a little more clearly with the TPTB rose glasses off.

Different strokes! I don't find Chris unattractive or boring. I am actually looking forward to seeing him as the lead! Hopefully Arie will find who/what he's looking for w/o bachelor nations help.

Another season I won't be watching. MF's picker is broken. Chris is a tool.

Well, I just need to laugh at MF's ridiculous choice.  

In the words of my favorite contestant ever:  "Merh.  What should I do with my hands?" 

Arie has the most important trait needed for a lead.  The ability to laugh at himself.  I'll so miss seeing that next January.

I have always liked Arie and would not have been at all unhappy if he had been picked...even though I seriously doubted he was in the cards...however, that had a slightly bitter quality to it. No doubt he really wanted the lead...why, I don't know seeing as he has been around long enough to see WTH they do to people and it's not like he didn't have the possibility of stuff coming out of his closet...but, spilling the beans seemed to be his way of telling off the producers and saying you won't have me to kick around any more and the farm thing seemed to be a dig at Chris, as if saying you could have had me and instead you're just getting a farmer. Not cool in my book. Chris has nothing to do with this and I am just as happy with him as the lead.

If Arie is seriously a changed man and wants his own happily ever after, I'm sure that he will have no shortage of women lining up for the gig...this just makes me wonder if that is really what he wants. Why is being the Bachelor so important to him? Men have been getting married for millennia without being the Bachelor and I'm sure he could manage it all on his own.

I don't quite understand why so many dislike Chris here. Arie is extremely likeable but we can't determine if he could "carry" a season any better than Chris. Both are equally capable of becoming Boring PI Sessions About Hoping To Find The Love Of My Life.
