^^ States like NY will require the state's bar exam and a law degree.

Yes, she would have to take the bar exam if she wanted to practice in another state. After 5 years of practice, she could take the attorney bar exam; if under 5 years, she would have to take the regular bar exam.

It depends on what law you practice. If you practice federal law (as opposed to state bar) you don't necessarily have to take the state bar, you may just have to be a member of one state bar. It depends on the court and state.
