The poster is in bad taste and comments on E news have the same sentiments. JPG made the right decision to dissociate his self from the production. ABC should stop it's bashing of JPG and milking the issue dry as it reflects very badly on Andi. At this early stage, comments are mostly negative towards Andi which may not be what ABC anticipated for when they release this poster. I'll bring over some of the comments [only the tamer and nicer ones, some comments are a bit nasty towards Andi]:

Andi should watch her back and not let TPTB manipulate her, otherwise she'll find herself in the same shoes with JPG.

If it was you, would you have approved that poster? No one has implied she designed it, but I certainly wouldn't 'look for love' by bashing someone. Shows she is continuing to be cruel, just as she was to Juan. This is a 'princess' with a sense of entitlement that is waaaaay out of proportion to what she has to offer a man. Ironically, my word verification is "wrong" and this just is!

I happen to like Andi. She is a strong woman with a lot of opinions. She will make a good bachelorette and she will be able to see through the fakes. The poster however is in bad taste. They should not let it seem like she is riding Juan Pablo's coat tails. She should quickly disassociate herself from him before the Bachelorette starts.

I am so sick of people continuing to bash Juan. I mean yea he was a jerk, but does that mean that every girl on the show was an angel??? Absolutely NOT!!!!! People applauded that Claire girl and all I could do was say wow( pathetic) because she slept with someone on national tv and got eliminated and put all the blame on Juan. Everyone on that show messed up, some people seriously need to stop talking.

I highly doubt Andi had any say in this poster. That would be all up to the marketing and advertising departments and they seem to love to bash Juan. You all think actors get to sign off on what their movie posters look like? Come on now.

If a poster put me in a bad light, that would be a deal breaker for me. I've been in marketing for decades and that poster would not be utilized if she was not on board. Of course they ran it by "The Bachelorette," don't be naïve, she is the 'star' of the show, such as it is.

I doubt Andi had any say in the poster at all. TPTB is in total control of this show. She was still in Europe when this was released.

Honestly I think it was the slant of the article that got the responses. Looking at the ad on it's own is not bad, it could have been funny. How many times has Juan made jokes about Juan/one. I think with a headline like "Oh, Snap! Andi's First Bachelorette Promo Bashes Juan Pablo and We Can't Help But Love it" made it into something negative. Boy is this season starting on a bad note.

As you said Carolina, it's TPTB's baggage.  Someone needs to change their diapers.

Unfortunately this indication of the direction TPTB might choose to take/continue might nudge Nikki & JPG into a joint decision to no longer share, for the benefit of fans, their relationship on social media.  After all, their family and friends are in their inner circle and don't need pics & posts. As is, it is only because of our expert sleuthers here that we know they are together in Santa Monica. No indication of that on their social media.

Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis shows a little affection to his winner Nikki Ferrell in a recent Instagram post earlier this week, where he made sure the word “love” was loud and clear in the caption. In the photo, the 26-year-old pediatric nurse’s back is facing the camera for all to see her shirt, which reads, “Pediatrics… our patients are cuter than your patients.” Galavis wrote alongside the picture, “Mi Catira @nikki_ferrell LOVES her JOB and thats ONE of the things I LOVE about her… #NikkiTheNurse.” According to UsMagazine.com, the post is just a few days after it was reported that 32-year-old Galavis finally voiced his love to Ferrell. An insider told Us that he “has told her, ‘I love you,”’ and that the two “Skype and text every day and are in constant contact.”

Probably to generate buzz for "the BAchelorette". It's over 5 wks since the show ended and JPG and Nikki are living their lives away from TPTB clutches, so i don't think it's fair for them to be dragged in.

Associating Juan's name in the promotional poster releases a "can of worms". Tabloids are starting to regurgitate the old story and negative comments are starting again.

Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell got to throw the first pitch of the season at the Miami Marlins baseball game on April 1. And no, it was not an April Fool's joke.

The Bachelor couple took their romance to the mound in Miami, Florida, where each of them threw out a ceremonial pitch before the Miami Marlins played the Colorado Rockies. For the big game, Nikki and Juan Pablo wore baseball jerseys with their names on the back. We feel like we're watching a Bachelor episode all over again! As for who had the better arm? Nikki!

"Mi Catira had a better FIRST pitch at @marlins PARK than ME, she DEFINITELY play ball as a KID…" Juan Pablo wrote on Twitter. He added, "From the MOUND looks FAAAAAAAR away... I STICK to soccer…"
