I originally didn't think JuanPa was hot.  But he sure looks hot on these pics! :Drool: Love the one where he's feeding Nikki.  They really are a stunning couple!

She sure looks satisfied to me! He might not look affectionate (to some people) to her in Public but I do believe he is in private. He kept saying it's a private matter during the ATFR. Which I can relate to as I come from a different culture and we also consider being physically affectionate/marriage proposals, etc a private matter.

Here's the pics. These are really nice pics and i must agree JPG looks hot .
He looks way way better after the show than during the show. I'm originally a Nikki fan and started liking JPG only in the latter part of the show.

The REAL Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell

As we were in the midst of an intense conversation, our lunch was interrupted by a little girl. She was about six years old and she came and stood at our table, awkwardly glancing up then looking at her feet and didn’t say a word.  Jim and I looked at each other and before we could do anything, Juan Pablo jumped up, went over to the little girl, got eye level with her and with a big smile said, “did you want our autograph”?  She nodded shyly and equally spontaneously, Nikki jumped up and joined in the interaction. They chatted with her about the Bachelor and the little girl excitedly told them that she rooted for Nikki all season long since they are from the same state. They took pictures then scrambled for paper so that Juan Pablo and Nikki could give her a real autograph. Juan Pablo hugged her and kissed her on the cheek and I thought she was going to die for having been kissed by Prince Charming. Then just as quickly Juan Pablo and Nikki rejoined the lunch conversation and we picked up where we left off.

This little vignette told me more about Juan Pablo and Nikki than two and a half hours of conversation. They are sweet, authentic, big-hearted people. They are also not without flaws.  Many of the things that they have been criticized for have some grounding in behavior. Juan Pablo is a strong, aggressive man. He is opinionated and is used to being in control. These character traits indicate the gift of leadership but, if not tempered by compassion, could also make you obnoxious and self absorbed. Nikki is very soft, nurturing and supportive. These character traits indicate the gift of mercy and compassion and if not tempered by strength and competence, could turn you into a doormat under enough stress.

Every one of us would show our less-than-attractive side if we had cameras following us around 24/7, for weeks on end, trust me, I know from experience. I thank God every day that I lived out my early adulthood before the internet.  Also, every one of us has the opportunity to become more than we are today.

The key is this: Iron sharpens Iron. Use all the junk that life throws at you as an opportunity to be sharpened. Never be a victim. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Look for the small kernels of truth. Then learn to forgive. Release the people who have harmed you so that YOU can be free.

It is our humble opinion that there is sufficient maturity, openness, and willingness to grow to make this a powerful, and healthy relationship. Add to this a growing faith in God, and you have all of the ingredients necessary for a happy, long-lasting relationship. I pray that Juan Pablo and Nikki use their celebrity to advance their gifts and impact others for good.

May God expand your influence for good and continue to bless your relationships!

Thanks MO1 for the article. I highlighted the vignette on the little girl which i liked the most. I loved it as it shows insight on the real character of JPG and Nikki. Yes there are flaws but i think the compassion and good heart will outweigh the downsides. I'll bring the article to the No discussion thread.

JP showed this concern for others when he and Andi chatted with the three boys in St Lucia. He offered to get them food and something to drink. I though his interactions with little Adrian and the two other boys was so touching.

I also pray they make it. Hopefully JPG makes an honest woman out of her sooner rather than later. I have never been a fan of long engagements. The longer the engagement, the more it seems you are waiting for something to break the relationship up. Engagement should be a time used to plan a wedding and not treated as another phase of "dating"

I think JPG is really sweet and loving as long as there isn't any pushback so his best qualities show through with kids or women who do as he says and don't question or talk back. So I can easily see him feeding Nikki (so adorable!) but at the same not wanting to hear a single word of dissent from her or any other SO. Hopefully his love and desire to make it work will outweigh everything else! They're adorable and I think he has a great heart!

If they get engaged, we will know they mean it.

I was engaged for a year not because we wanted a long engagement, but because that is honestly how far in advance you have to start planning to get everything lined up for your wedding at your favored venues and without paying "last minute" inflated prices. And we had to do all our church marriage preparation. And so on and so on. For me, that was an amazing time in my life; I LOVED being engaged. But it was also a very important time because you start to see more of the things you've been hiding from each other, and that you do need to work through to keep the relationship healthy. Planning to get married can and should be a very critical process, IMHO. We tried to ask all the questions too many friends, now divorced, did not ask until after marriage (we got a lot of them out of the way while dating, but until you commit, there is always something held back).

Nikki Ferrell got to play cheerleader in Miami as her boyfriend "Bachelor's" Juan Pablo Galavis tried his hand at playing tennis against the legendary Roger Federer.

Galavis and Ferrell both attended Federer's Moët & Chandon "Tiny Tennis" tournament yesterday at FIFTY at the Viceroy in Miami.

Ferrell looked beautiful, sporting a tight pink dress, while Galavis wore jeans and a blazer. The couple took kissy-face selfies during the cocktail portion of the event.

A lot was said about Juan Pablo's resistance to tell Ferrell he loved her on "After the Final Rose" following the "Bachelor" finale. He also didn't propose to Ferrell when he chose her during the finale earlier in the month.

"They definitely seemed like a real couple. They arrived with another couple, friends of theirs, and were really excited about meeting Federer," a source told ABC News. "Juan Pablo had his arm around Nikki the entire time. They were very loving and he would steal kisses here and there."

The source added that Ferrell was very vocal in supporting her man when he stepped up to the challenge and played the tennis legend at his own game.

After the event, Ferrell and Galavis "left for dinner with their [friends], and Juan Pablo stood behind Nikki with his arms around her as they waited for the elevator," the source said.
