I'm new to this forum and I'm so happy that you say what you mean and mean what you say for the enjoyment of those of us who love
our favs. I think Nikki is fabulous. I didn't say perfect but I love her to pieces, her humor, her wit, her spunkiness, her intellect, her beauty just makes for a great little gal. I think she can deal. Juan Pablo is not an American guy even though born here. From my own experience I know people from other cultures have their own way of thinking and doing things. If you go back and watch the "little things" with Nikki, he was very sweet. I don't think he was trying to do any harm to Nikki at  ATFR but was ticked and holding his ground with CH. I wish them the best and pray that they are happy together until they are old and gray. :Smiley:

Done. I loved this article. Spot on assessment on JPG's character. As the counselors said, he's sharp and witty, but it does not show on TV. In fact the edit made him look crass. He's often misunderstood and from what i've seen on TV, it's only Nikki who gets him and can play along with his humor.

Yes, really enjoyed the interview as it was very balanced and honest. I agree that Nikki definitely saw his wit as compatible with her own. There were glimpses of their teasing/flirting back & forth on the show. I would have enjoyed seeing more of that. Although she is, as they stated, "feminine" , I did think she was setting some boundaries. An example would be on the ball diamond while he was kissing & nudging her shoulder she would not be deterred from asking her questions. Such a cute scene as he was in puppy dog mode while she kept him on a leash ( gently, of course).
"... see the differences and make room for each other" was my favorite statement they made. Such a wonderful way to define compromise in any relationship.
