The below is an excerpt from JP's blog: My take on this is he is in constant communication with Nikki's dad. He knows that if they could survived the controversies they have a good chance of making the relationship work. I like his blog, he was grateful for the opportunity and for meeting Nikki but at the same acknowledges the downsides.

Usually the lead will mention the F2 in their final blog, correct? It doesn't matter though as he is moving on now.

I think the blog was a graceful thank you without being overly defensive.

It seems the blog was attempting to be positive and thankful to everyone who gave up time and contributed to the show and another "love" letter to Nikki. Any mention of Clare would have taken it to a negative place. Clare said her piece and except for the one comment of being glad he didn't chose her, I think he has been very fair and not wanted to say anything negative about Clare.

I am impressed. I wish we had seen more of this JPG Monday night and this makes me think that CH continually asking the same question helped that situation degrade quickly.

I agree Stuck, if Chris had been a little nicer, we and Nikki totally would have gotten an ily and "this woman is THE ONE" and all sorts of Bachelor-speak dialogue. Oh well!!

He has tweeted something is missing. He may have acknowledged Clare in a kind way.

I agree with your post especially the bolded. I think we have seen the whole gamut of JP's personality. He could be gentle but rude if under stress.
He luck out in choosing Nikki. With the support of both families, they have a strong possibility of making the relationship works.

I am hopeful for them too. I think Nikki has seen all sides of JPG and that is a good sign. To make a relationship work you have to be able to take both a person's good and bad.
