^^^WORD! You know what JP filed in in his questionnaire on Des' season on "how he sees himself in 10 years?" As a successful music producer and sports agent.... He has been talking about going on DTWS from the very beginning too....

Gosh, It makes me feel sad for people who refuse to acknowledge facts and instead chose to go with what they hope is the truth(that Jp and Nikki will live happily ever after in total privacy..) and REFUSE to see beyond that. The world is not all black and white, we exist in gray shades....

Seems to me that the surprise was there will be no surprise in an attempt to make Chris look stupid.

Maybe they thought they could get JP to tell Nikki he loved her and he backed out onstage no idea

maybe they thought they could get him to propose if they pressured him. Who knows, I know we won't. The comments about plans changing were definitely related to DWTS IMO.

Also, I don't think the producers threw JP under the bus any worse than his family did. Their opinions were really telling.
