No I think it's just that there are a lot of pictures of Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher at basketball games

They should absolutely send hand written thank you notes to everyone who sent a wedding gift whether a personal gift or donations to charity in honor of their wedding. It's the courteous and right thing to do.

Sorry ImLipsisIncognito, after reading what I wrote on the delivery it sounds kind of silly. Since it's a registry though I would think that they would have your info when you paid so that they can let the couple know who the gift is from. It's been awhile since I've purchased from a registry at the store for delivery so I don't remember. I'm not sure but just seems like it anyway. It sounds like they're just starting to arrive though.

I sent my gift directly to Sean and Catherine online through Macy's gift registry, and I wondered if they would get my information too. I wasn't sure if I would get a thank you note or not with so many fans sending gifts, but I did want them to know who it was from and wasn't sure if they would have access to my information... but it sounds as though it may have been included in the gift receipt sent with their gift, based on what you said macswife. I would love to get a card from them for a keepsake! That would be awesome  :Smiley:

My contact info wasn't included on the donation form I don't believe so they wouldn't know where I live. Again, no big deal to me. I didn't donate so that I'd receive a thank you. Supporting a good case was good enough reason for me.

I hear you, umngirl.  Getting a thank you isn't the reason to donate, but if they have any way to contact you they should send individual thank you's.  Or the charity should. I hope they did. We need more personal thank you's in this world and not just on collective twitter.

At any rate, I think it's awesome you donated and others here too. And, good on Sean and Catherine for offering the opportunity to do it.

TA. I made a donation too and also bought them a gift off their registry, but I don't feel they are obliged to send me a thank you card, though I'd be very happy if I received one. My biggest pleasure is in knowing that I got them something and also donated to a good cause. I commend them for taking the time to hand write the thank you cards, when they could very well have made it easier on themselves.

Good morning! Random: CH put a pic on IG of himself and his daughter at a father/daughter dance. My mind immediately went to Sean and his daughter several years from now doing the same thing. He'll buy her a little corsage and Cat will taking pictures. Little Shauna's brothers will be making fun of them. And Sean will be all teary. Ahhh, sweet thought.

I agree with you, my donations did not have my address. I never expected Sean and Catherine to send me a thank you card at all. I have made donations to other charitable organization and have not received a thank you card.  I do not expect anyone to thank me for donating or giving a gift.  I give gifts because I believe that it is really important for me to bless others.  It is always a blessing to give than to receive.  We really do not give gifts so that someone can thank you or so that we can receive a thank you card.  Our gifts and donations should be just a blessing to others without any expectations.

What a sweet Saturday morning thought blessed. I love the maybe name "Shauna" and dreaming of Sean as a Dad. I saw my late hubby's expression in my mind as he held his daughter for the first time and it brought back such beloved memories. I hope Sean and Catherine have the blessing of children, they are hoping for a family and they will make great parents.

Is he yanking her chain or do we think he/they are really there?
