I have to wonder if we should also be looking at the girl who likes to dance. he keeps mentioning dancing in his blog.  He said a girl that dances is a major turn on while a girl that doesn't is a major turn off.

Nikki's not that great of a dancer and didn't look like she was enjoying herself on the date. Most likely because she was nervous about having to put herself out there. I don't blame her.

Chelsie looked like she was having a blast as was Cassandra, Kat, and the rest of the girls on the date.


I got the feeling that Nikki gets along great with Chelsie based on her hiding behind Nikki on the group date. and we don't see drama between her and Chelsie.

So I think Nikki gets along fine with some, and others not so much.

Thanks JBF for the added insight on media mentions! It really is so hard to know what approach the lead may be taking as we have no idea if JP is here for a good time, a promotional opportunity or really truly a relationship with legs. It seems like after the fact we can go back and see if there is any relevance to our musings.

And, Kelad9, you are right! He does keep talking about someone who is great dancer. So let's make list:

- Dancer or likes to dance
- Good with kids and good role model
- Mature
- Classy
- Never sloppy drunk
- No drama or tattletales
- Worldly
- Intelligent
- Athletic (likes a gal in spandex)
- Looks great without makeup ... is get up and go
- Lots of energy to keep up with him

DeAnna's season taught  me to not pay attention to what the lead says he/she wants. She kept saying that she wants to be a mother and have 3 kids by the time she is 27! And she was what, 24 at the time???? I was convinced that she was counting little Ty in her wonky mental math (I'm assuming it was mental because gosh, if she actually used a paper and pen I would send her back to grade 2   ).
These leads claim to "want" one thing and then it turns out that they actually pick something else.

I totally agree. Ali is another who claimed she wanted to settle down but she quickle left a settled life for hollwood

So true!!! Deanna sure had me convinced that Jason would be her F1 and I thought NO WAY would production keep a single dad away from his child that long just to end up #2. Boy was I ever wrong! Fool me once, shame on you ... fool me twice, shame on me.

Juan Pablo's top 8 ladies are so different, it's hard to know what he wants. He's got:

1. A hairdresser who spits out her octopus and never traveled out of country or taken vacations due to work but seems kind, loves her family and is self described as "happy" but an ice queen in the romance dept.

2. A worldly, sophisticated opera singer who is not interested in children and said on her ABC bio page: "I'm not a big risk-taker and have made most major decisions calculatedly and with my career in mind." Hmmm ...

3. A sweet science educator who is most likely great with kids, loves to dance/athletic and per JP, FUN!

4. A pretty pediatric nurse who does not make friends easily with other ladies, seems on the serious side and said on her ABC bio page that her preferred type of dancing is "drunk dancing."  

5. A high energy medical sales rep who LOVES to dance, loves football, is adventurous having moved to new city plus backpacked through Australia for 4 wks by herself and looks like she spends a lots of time in gym.

6. A feisty & sexy attorney who is intelligent, seems to get along with everyone, is kind and easy going.  

7. The mother Theresa of single mothers who is so kind and caring of everyone, super athletic/outdoorsy and roll out of bed pretty.

8. The beautiful, soft spoken model/single mommy who is YOUNG, loves to dance but didn't seem to want to get hair wet while poolside.

If I were a matchmaker, I'd say his best choices are Kat, Renee, Chelsie and maybe Andi but the heart wants what the hearts wants, right?!

Oh! You have me in hysterics with your descriptions, MVMom39forever... just add that Nikki was shown washing her hands a lot in her intro bio and says she loves her job so much she's willing to work for free. "Just don't tell them that." Also Elise was totally wrong about her potentially being "negative" with kids. That baby is grinning from ear to ear with Nikki.

The way the storyline seems to go, Juan goes into this season seeking a step-mother for Camilla and leaves with... a hottub buddy. Sean told him not to dump the massage therapist. Yet he still gets his massages.

Sssssssooooooo... this means I can easily see Clare and Nikki as his top two... yin and yang... instead of Clare and Andi as top two... yin and yin. The latter duo is too "physical" with Juan. Yet when Juan said Nikki's limo was "on fire", she got out her stethoscope! In contrast, Clare showed up "knocked up" and Andi got the "salsa" music in her high heels... and was forced to get nude with Juan and Free Spirit Lucy on the doggie shoot. They must always have contrasting personalities for our finale.

“A man who can love his daughter that much, I think he can love ME that much.” (In her intro bio in episode #1, what is that building in Sacramento she walks in front of?)

I guess you folks can see I've already thrown in the towel with the guess-which-one-he'll-pick part. I tried so hard to make Chelsie and Nikki "fit" into the F1 role and just got completely exhausted. Both Sharleen and Andi still seem like long-shots for me.

Maybe that's just my own bias and maybe she'll grow on me but I gotta watch more of this season before I pick anyone for that coveted spot on the cover of People with JP. I might be crawling back and begging to be in your Clare Club come final four   so hold open a spot.

Hey! I never said I WANTED Clare to "win". She doesn't even look like Juan's "type". Think of this show as a big jigsaw puzzle and, for some oddball reason, only the Clare "pieces" are fitting right. Maybe there are other pieces that fit, but they must be hidden under the table or something...

Good grief! Her episode #1 intro bio follows dumped Lacy chirping "I'm gonna go all the way until I have a ring on my finger. Juan Pablooooo... " (cue our "Welcome to Sacramento" sign)

Come what may I will not be begging anyone to allow me to be in the Clare F1 club. I have not been a fan of the F1 in more seasons than I can remember and this one will be much the same.
I agree with you MVMMOM - I don't see Clare as F1 either, if not for any other reason is that she was way too out there in the Season Preview. This is something they have never done and is normally reserved for the f3 and f2. On that basis alone I discount her.

I also have yet to see JP "chasing" Clare. It is purely the other way around. Having said that, she may still be f1 and ride of into the sunset riding the proverbial elephant (or in the case of SeanCat, an actual elephant) but she would reach that spot merely because "others" have fallen by the way side (much like Graham / Jesse) and not because she was "the one" from day one. I actually see Clare a lot like Jesse by ensuring she stays in the leads sight at every opportunity.
Why am I thinking of DeAnna's season so much today   ?
