Catherine & Sean Tweets/Facebook Updates - Discussion

I'm hoping that Cynthia and maybe some other Seattle peeps will be at the shower, but I won't be disappointed if they aren't because the wedding is in 3 weeks.

I'm on the fence on whether it will be filmed or not. But I do expect some pictures, whether from the resident photogs, family, or the couple themselves.

Is anyone else wondering if we'll get a clip of Cynthia giving Sean her blessing to marry Cat (not that it matters at this point)?

Regardless of whether anything is filmed, I really hope Cynthia can visit Dallas to see where her daughter's new home is.

It would feel a little weird to me if they did that because they've been engaged for so long. If the wedding was closer to when the season ended I could see it. But many (most) probably forgot about that. I'm not opposed to seeing it, but it just doesn't feel necessary to me and something they'd use the 2 short hours airing.

I hope she makes it there soon too, whether it's before the wedding or say for like Easter.

I have gotten the impression that Cynthia is very practical. As I recall, her trip to LA during DWTS happened around the time of her spring/Easter break from teaching- and I do think that would be a good time for her to make a significant trip to Dallas- she would feel as if the long distance traveled was worth it for a good week there. She really doesn't seem to me the type who would invest the time and money for a 36 hour visit, even though her daughter is having an adventurous life.

Really, I think Catherine and Sean are basically practical as well- which is why we don't see them heading to Seattle or anywhere, really, at the drop of a pin. All their actions seem to be well-considered. The Bachelor and the life it has allowed them over the past year is the anomaly.

I agree with you that it would be weird but this is The Bachelor producers we are talking about. I mean, they've manufactured way wackier ideas than that.

Lol. For sure. Perhaps we will get it considering we already know Sean's family did some filming so I'd guess the other side would too at some point. Although I think the Lowe's/Shull's are more comfortable on camera than Cat's mom and sisters. You know who we need to get interviewed, Lola.

Perhaps as part of the rehearsal (or family) dinner the night before the wedding, they can encourage Cynthia to deliver a toast which welcomes Sean to the family- and then it won't be so contrived.
