Really? I just talked to my cousin there and there's nothing on the radar for tonight, just cold.

He was driving past O'Hare and said it didn't look great (he's about your age UMN girl, but has spend the past few years in the south and hates traffic... and isn't used to the cold- so that may have been it. But he did say the clouds were darker than usual. It's funny- he grew up in New England and knows really snow (Chicago only gets little light stuff in my opinion- we just moved away after 4 years there)... but air traffic in and out of O'Hare can be effected by just a little weather. But is Sean's problem in SLC tonight? If he could get to Chicago, I would think he'd stay there for the quick trip to La Guardia in the am.

^SLC is clear tonight and tomorrow.

Seriously though, he should have been able to get to Chicago tonight easily. Now with NYC expecting snow he risks not being able to fly into there tomorrow. Did I mention how much I hate this winter storm?

Having looked at all the weather, I can't figure out how he can't get or did not get past SLC either. Weather seems better today than it will be tomorrow all along that route.

Since that event is Wednesday, I do suspect they were both planning on meeting back in Dallas, switching out their clothes and flying together tomorrow. At least he does have all day to get there. Hope she goes tonight. Tomorrow doesn't look too good in NYC.

I can't figure it out either. It really makes zero sense. Then again, I'm no air travel expert.

On the plus side for Sean, the guys are at the SLC airport with him so he has company until they leave, that is if they can get back to Dallas tonight. If not, the guys' party continues for another day. And there was an American Airlines flight scheduled for about an hour from now to Dallas that's been cancelled.

And maybe all isn't lost for Sean. An AA flight to Chicago has been rescheduled for 6:15 pm so perhaps he can get on that one.

Are you sure? I just saw the radar on my news and there is absolutely nothing on the radar near Chicago.

I am watching ABC World News and they actually showed a picture of the airport in Chicago with snow and they are trying to clean it.
