Additionally, Weiss has also signed on to plan Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's big day, which we know will be a special affair down to every last detail.

Thanks lipsis! This goes with Cat's "grown sexy" to describe the theme. With all that we know about the wedding i'm sure it's going to be very beautiful! Can't wait.

I'm not sure if I'm posting on the correct thread. With regards to the first dance, I was also sad and disappointed but I have a feeling (wishful thinking) that they will show it eventually. Maybe if the ratings is high for the live wedding and people requesting TPBP/ABC for it, there might be a tv special with the edited version plus the first dance even for an hour only. Valentine's special perhaps? Is this possible or I'm hoping for the impossible.

I can't imagine the ratings will be that high. None of the weddings other than Trista & Ryan's had good ratings. It's possible something may come out online though.

Unfortunately the wedding being live has taken away the extras we're used to from the other televised weddings. I'd hope they will give us a taped package on the pre-wedding things at least.

First Look: Bachelor Bride Finds Gown

She had the groom, the ring and the wedding date. All Catherine Giudici needed was a dress. The graphic designer — who met her fiancé, Sean Lowe, on Season 17 of The Bachelor and will marry him live on ABC on Jan. 26 — recently hit a Los Angeles bridal salon.

"I wanted something timeless but that also had sex appeal," Catherine says. (She was joined by Sean's mom, Sherry Lowe, and her mom, Cynthia Giudici.)

Mission accomplished! "I felt something different with the third dress I tried — really comfortable and confident, and the grin on my face made it an easy choice," she says. Best of all? "I didn't see any price tags!"

I was just about to post something similar with regards to Cat's choice of dress. She says she wanted something timeless with sex appeal. She might have selected a dress from the 2014 collection and had it altered to her specifications or had one custom made. I am thinking she's going for an interesting back, lots of lace, great beading (no bling bling, except for her Neil Lane jewelry) and a long traditional Veil. I think she'll curl her locks beautifully and wear it long in a side part, but I am hoping she wears her hair up.

I like her hair up too.  I always like it when she has her hair up in a bun or ponytail, even clipped on top.  I think she looks prettier when her hair is out of her beautiful face.  If her hair will be down and a little curled, I hope it's clipped away from her face.  :Smiley:

I do think Catherine will wear white, not blush... because she rocks white lace.

Whether her hair is up or down will partly depend, I think, on the back detailing of the dress. If it's pretty much similar to the detailing on the front, her hair might be down... it will definitely be up if there is something special to look at on the back.

They just had a short interview shown during E! News. It took place while they were in NYC at the GNC store. Nothing too interesting. Just saying that they want there to be a feeling of opulence without being too much. And that it's surreal millions will be watching the wedding.
