I am sure Chris is not going to interview former bach/ettes who are attending because they are going to cover that during the January 19th segment. They might show picking of the wedding dress and suit only. Live wedding is very different from prerecorded so we are not going to see the normal stuff we have seen with other weddings.

^^I think the interviews with past b/bs if any, will be very limited. They normally have the 'successful couples' and TB interviewed prior to the main event, but this time they have several specials lined up notably before the big day, where I bet these guys will be asked to articulate their thoughts on the upcoming wedding and SeanCat among other things, hence no need for a rehash. The past ceremonies have been pre- recorded making it easier to throw in as much filler as necessary. There are commercial breaks to put into consideration as well. I wouldn't count on a similar system this time around. It is challenging to pull a live wedding off, but looks like production is up for it.

We're not at all ashamed to admit how excited we are for former Bachelor Sean Lowe and his fiance Catherine Giudici's wedding. Not only was Lowe an incredibly entertaining and handsome Bachelor, Giudici was smart and bubbly throughout the season and was America's sweetheart even before he proposed with that knockout Neil Lane engagement ring in Thailand. We knew from that moment that they'd defy the Bachelor couple odds to go on and get married, and we were right!

With two months until their ABC-broadcast wedding on Jan. 26, the comely couple is coming down the home stretch of wedding planning. They've set the date, sent out hilarious save-the-date cards, and now they've also registered for bedding and bath items.

Lowe and Giudici stopped into Bloomingdale's recently to select those necessary objects, but not before popping some champagne, having an impromptu pillow fight, and feeding each other a mini wedding cake. If there's a better way to kick off a shopping trip, we don't know one.

After the fun settled down, they got to business picking out items from luxury home brand Charisma, including high thread count sheets, towel set, premium throw blanket, deluxe bath robes, a new Charisma duvet cover.

Though the playful duo got a kick out of the registry gun, they also took a moment to get serious about why they were really there. "We're getting married and starting to build our life together. It's really fun collaborating and picking out things we love, that we will enjoy for years to come, like luxurious items from Charisma."

Oh, man. If that's a precursor to their wedding vows, their wedding is going to be a real sobfest. And yet, dare we say it? It's going to be awesome.

I'm glad it's not being filmed- and it may be another good reason for the wedding to be live. I don't know that their friends really want to be followed around by cameras for four days so that TPTB can edit it down to what they believe will be "good television" (think Tierrable). Perhaps a few still photos will be shot and get out- and if it's not at all part of the TV program, then Catherine and Sean can just relax and have fun with their friends and their friends can also relax.... after all, though Catherine and Sean have gotten used to the cameras (as much as they can be) their friends are not used to them and it would really interfere with their enjoyment of the weekend.

Or maybe they are paying for these themselves to avoid giving ABC the right to bring cameras?

I had another thought last night, purely speculation of course, that we've misinterpreted the "no cameras". Perhaps what was said was "no paparazzi". By going to a cabin in Jackson they will just have "man time" and not misunderstandings (as there might be in say, Las Vegas, where an innocent picture could be turned into something entirely different). And I don't think they'll be doing anything there which would be turned into what TPTB would think is "good TV"... maybe skiing, snowboarding. Maybe they'll snowmobile. They'll probably play cards and games and talk and eat and inordinate number of egg whites. And just hang out- which Sean has not done with the guys for a long time. I would think they might have a spiritual aspect to the weekend, too (and we know tptb don't think that's good TV).

Likewise, I think the girls are going to be hanging out..... my guess: a spa weekend. And dancing. And singing.

Wow you took the words right out of my mouth jcrbil. I totally agree, a man cave friend batch weekend for Sean and friends doing guy stuff. In Sean case sports, fun games and reminiscing about their guy time together, and then more sports and a lot of good old fashioned teasing, and for Cat, spa, nails, hair, drinks, laughter, dancing, naughty black little bedclothes discussions and also good old fashioned girl teasing. Yup!

Just saw Catherine on ET. She was interviewed trying on wedding dresses with Monique. They also showed her mom, Crista and Sherry.
