I think Brooks also knows who he is and wants a woman who knows who she is and has a very independent nature. To me that is not Des.

Des seemed very Christian around Sean. On her season she kind of shared interest with most of the guys. In the pre-MTA talk with Emily and Ali, she kind of got the mean girl thing and played it up on the MTA. Now she is more and more like Chris everyday.

I don't think Brooks would have been happy with someone like that. To me he would want a partner as interesting as he is.

Hi Stuckinsc, I agree that he wants someone who knows who she is and is very independent. And I agree that Des does not really seem to fit that mold based on past behavior. I still think she is a great person, but just not the girl for Brooks, and that's okay. She and Chris seem happy together, and Brooks has repeatedly said it was his choice to walk away and seems very happy as well. Did you get a chance to listen to the podcast interview Nonina and I were referring to? I posted it a couple of posts back-it's on page 24.

I did. I really like Brooks, more and more since the show. He is very bright and intelligent. He is one of the few people I have liked more post show.

I don't really agree with that about Desiree not being independent. She's lived on her own for a very long time and indicated she would want to travel the world, etc. Perhaps those plans changed due to who she ended up with, but that's part of being in a relationship on when that could happen or if it will be different things she focuses on.

No problem to each there own. I really didn't care for Des on Sean's season and she was okay as the bachelorette. I didn't care for a lot of her comments after her finale either. That is just me personally.

BUT, I think she and Chris are a good fit and are very happy together. One thing I distinctly remember Des saying before the finale was that she didn't get what she wanted, she got what she needed and I think that is very true. Chris was the much better man for Des and she and he are a great fit. I kind of think of them to the tune of the Garth Brooks song "Unanswered Prayers".

I liked Brooks while the show aired but really grew to love him after, his personality has really shown through.

The very best. Good match, Brooks would have driven her crazy. It will be awhile before he will be where
Des is now. Still hoping he will meet that special person soon.

Hosting: are Jeff Holm, Arie jr, Zac W, Robert Graham, Brooks Forester, Drew Kenney, and Kiptyn.
Brooks mentioned on twitter that he would be in Cali on the wkend, nothing abt the party. Unless he
Doesn't intend to show.

I was on Brooks twitter, he is in Cali, I looked at his followers and Arie Jr is on the top, I thought it to be
Strange, I had the impression they didn't like each other. I tapped his twitter and there it was, he's on his
Way to Cali, and mentions all the names that will be there. We will soon find out. If they are all there I hope we get pictures. I'm a 2 hr drive if I knew for sure that Brooks and Drew were there I would have gone.
