Ohh I'm slow, just seeing this is old! When did RS tweet that out?

Don't you think it has to do with Juan Pablo leading her on during her HTD by watching her dead father's special movie to his daughter, all for nothing? I've assumed that was why this chick was doomed to F2 from minute one ... these producers left that somber tidbit in her opening introduction for a reason. She's going to crash and burn.

Yes, that DEF crossed my mind! I knew from the second they threw that DVD in her intro they were going to use it up to NO good! Guess we will have to watch and see!

I wonder if Clare just assumed she was the F1, or if she was pressured to show it to him. She said it was meant for "her future husband." Why would Clare allow herself to show him the video, when clearly they are still 3 other girls in the game?

Mmm im confused while would anyone rule out Clare as the F1 while we all know that All Spoilers -including RS-were being duped by TPTB successfully last season? Do you think MF and co are not eager to prove The cocky Texas guy 10000 % wrong again this time? LoL...

I personally think the future husband vid later on HTD is part of Them building the story line of "the Tale of the Ice Queen finding a (hot) hubby that could melt her heart on a TV Show".lol

Murasaki, welcome back   Based on the several season previews, JBF, Litta and I feels that Clare is the F1. I know this is not a popular opinion, on this site, but even with her "crazy" edit, I am yet to see anything to make me think otherwise. So, I am just waiting for the mid-season previews to see if something in there would make me change my mind.

We have had lengthy discussions on this is the NO SPOILER threads. You are welcome to join in, as long as you keep the spoilers to yourself, jejejejeje. Just SC analysis and talks about the edits allowed!

You hit the nail on the head albean99.   Clare thought she had the F1 locked up after her late night ocean romp.  When JPab expressed regret, she realized at the point that he had feelings for other girls, and that is why she started to cry.  

I do think that she once again "thinks" she has the F1 sewn up, after their date this week.  She is going to be a site to see, if in fact she isn't the F1.

if i can recall correctly, (paraphrasing her words), she cried because she has no intention to disrespect his daughter. and she was also bummed that JP didnt say NO on the spot, then and there.

I think you are right mura. I don't think the reason she was crying had ANYTHING to do with finding out he may/may not have feelings for others, but rather cause she felt bad if it came across the possibility of disrespect towards his daughter.

IMO JP also obviously gaga about Clare more than the others. He seems more emotional and talkative with her. Given the fact that he is not so articulative in English, that is very telling to me.

I dont see resemblance of Brad-Chantal in this case. Brad always got more emotional with Em compare to Chantal, while he obviously has physical attraction to her. I observed in JP`s case, he develop both, emotional and physical, toward Clare.

I see what you are saying, but saying she is the first one to have 2- 1 on 1 dates, is really a moot point.  She was the first one to have that date, and she has gone the longest(with the exception of Andi) without a 1 on 1, it makes more sense to give her a 2nd date, since she has gone the longest.  

I think the more telling sign of where his heart is, is his 2nd one on on date with Nikki.  She had a one on one a week ago, and yet he is choosing her for another one on one this week.  He could have chosen Sharlene, Renee or Chelsie, who's one on one's were longer ago(or the same week with Renee.) But, he chose Nikki, and I think that is very telling.

He always comments on "how hot" Clare is, or says "she is on fire."  That is all physical attraction, and that eventually fades.  He talked about Nikki's heart, and how good it was, plus he commented on "how sexy she was" To me, is seems his has both the emotional and physical aspect more with Nikki.  But, like you said, disagreeing is the beauty of this board.

I don't think he "chose" to have the date with Nikki, rather it is producer driven. Correct me if I am wrong some of the long time posters, but I believe that the dates are producer driven..who and where they are??

Count me in on Clare is the f1 train. I guess I Dont need to follow this season fully since I already can conclude she really is by episode 5 ( much so like my Prince last season ..). Juan the homeboy cant resist himself !  :giggle:   

I have No fav this season so doing investigation is much more fun!. By using 'academic' approach comparison i can assure you They still hire
The same editor from Des's season, (shocker! No?   )..though They chose More *wacky editing to smack our head   ...Lol. * : her being crazy, Clare-gate, confilct with other girls, Nikki instead of her who get to meet Camilla..etc

* : just a gentle reminder of this silly show`s Golden Rule : TPTB dont give a single care about the lead and his/her F1`s image for viewers/fans.
The final couple literally like a baby giraffe (chuckle2, borrowing Clare`s line since this is her thread   ) sent to the jungle full of wild predators out there post-show. The stronger they are, the more likely they will survive (Jason-Molly, Jash & Chres) and the weak one (pardon me for using this example..cough2 Ben-Coutney, JEM) will be....... history.
