I wouldn't really peg anyone as a bitch so far. Clare is needy, emotional and over the top into JPab...some might call her crazy but, I wouldn't go that far. He is sending her mixed messages and for someone as seemingly emotional as she is, that is just setting her up to lose it. Nikki has been shown to be sarcastic, whiny and a bit disingenuous around JPab but I wouldn't label her as bitchy either. We have seen a lot worse on this show. Now, how either of them might be in the house with the other ladies, is a different matter. Just going on what we have been shown thus far, I don't see a bitch anywhere. Of course, we are only about half way through the show and who knows what producers have in store for us. I will reserve my judgement until I have seen it all.

I find Clare annoying more than anything. She's the closest thing to a drama queen they have although she's no Tierra.

I like getting other people's opinion. I really liked Chantal, she was a little dramatic, but I found her fun and Emily to be a boring wet rag. Whereas, to me Clare is just annoying and slightly crazy. But I have also been suspicious of how a beautiful woman like her somehow was magically not dating in her early 30s. To me that was very odd. Something about her is off to me. I do agree she has great physical chemistry with JPab, but I don't see them actually having conversation, but making out, etc.

I agree Clare is annoying...I hate to label anyone crazy knowing how manipulative this show is. As for her not dating...well, she could be lying about that. She wouldn't be the first contestant who has tried to present a wholesome image when that may have been stretching the truth a tad. On the other hand, she could also be telling the truth. I have known wonderful women who you would think men would be all over, being dateless because of they are shy or career driven.

For me, the something off is JPab himself. He is sending mixed messages. He seems to be all about the physical, yet wanting someone of substance...unlike himself. He likes to be sneaky, but he doesn't want her to be. He is all about fairness...when it suits him! He says he wants to set a good example for Camilla by not kissing too many women and doesn't want to be disrespectful to Renee by kissing her because she is a mom, but then proceeds to do a tonsillectomy on numerous other women with his tongue. He is very physical with several women but he doesn't really have conversations with any of them. The deeper conversations that have occurred seemed to have all come from the women. He just asks a question, nods a lot and says how he just wants to set a good example for  Camilla. Everything he says seems to always come back to Camilla. She is his excuse for everything. Now I will give him the same benefit of a doubt that I give to everyone, this is all edited, yada yada yada, but there is just something about him that is setting off my spidy senses.

I am not sure where it came up that Clare hasn't dated since her dads death. In the first episode she said that she had deliberately been dating men whom she knew were emotionally unavailable, because she wasn't really ready to find love herself. Also, it has been reported that she was in a relationship, which ended last year, with a yet unnamed pro MLB player. Like you Sprite, I also try my best to not call these people names or presume to think that I know what they truly are, outside of their Bachelor edits. It always seem unfair and wrong to me, somehow.

As for JotaPe, I sincerely believe that this whole show and what it entails is completely foreign to him and he was really confused by it all. He said in an interview that relationships in Venezuela are typically more casual and the couples only go on dates on special occasions. I can only imagine that going on a date EVERYDAY must have felt like learning a new language. He was in over his head.

Needy is a way that could describe Clare. To me though, I really don't understand all the dislike/distain for her either.

After seeing Jimmy Kimmel Live, i suspect Clare is the F1. MF and Co anticipated that JP is terrible holding a poker face, so they wouldn`t let JK shows Clare`s card. And ...what about the awful amount of Sacramento comments? what a dead give away!!LOL..that was sooo close, JP!!  :P 

same trick with Des last season, with Chris`s card only being flashed over her face. LoL...

i am okay with Clare. i regard her as still in the normal zone mentally. If anything, guess they are still a reasonable match. IMO JP is quite sexist, so Clare`s personality as a needy, need-to-be-fixed woman match his perfectly. Besides, one cant deny that they indeed have hot chemistry there.

on a side note, i feel for the non-spoiled F1. Like last season, MF and Co did all the manipulative, tricky things to mislead us : ridiculous edit of Chris HTD and him handling roses in a public area near the finale.   . We cant deny that people are tend to be the fans of the spoiled F1 pre-season. For some reasons the spoiled F2 tend to be less popular, and often getting the critics. e.g for Chris : too cheesy, delusional, annoying, bad hair cut, etc etc.   

IMO the same goes with this season. TPTB has thrown their wild card to Clare by suggesting JP to confront her about the Clare-gate. so, you know, that we wouldnt think that she is the next `Courtney the F1`, as Ben did not regret their awful decision one bit. (altho, i do think this time the swim in the ocean is `harmless` and less destructive). TPTB will do whatever it takes to throw us in a loop, including doing purposely misleading edits such as leaving all of intimate moments on the edit floor (Chris`s case, so he often called `delusional` due to his most ITMs.. :Frown: ), or in contrast, showing all the intimacies vulgarly-  i believe for Bachelor they need a different trick, apply in Clare`s case-),

What else, who knows.....we shall see soon on next episodes. but anything   from MF wouldnt surprise me one bit... . Just hoping JuClare is solid enough to face whatever come to their way, the good and the bad, post-season.

In addition, as per the edit guru, Mr. JBF, this season they are breaking the First Date Curse. No F1 had a first date before. Clare will be the first breaker.LoL.
